Fantasy Football Live Match Chat Gameweek 36
Welcome to Fantasy Football Live Match Chat Gameweek 36. It’s almost back to a
sense of normality for GW36. We saw ‘almost’ because we do have another Friday deadline this week (and while we’re talking about it, GW37 is the same). It’s Huddersfield’s chance this week to see if they can win the award for conceding the softest ever penalty to Liverpool as they visit Anfield. James Milner for captain anyone?!
We then move into the weekend proper and it’s a lunchtime kick off at Spurs as Poch’s men host their nemesis from the east end.
Four 3pm matches follow as Everton visit Palace, Fulham try and drag Cardiff down with them, we have a battle of the south coast as Saints host Bournemouth and Watford & Wolves get to re-enact their entertaining Cup semi-final.
The evening match sees Duffy & Dunk get another opportunity to taunt owners as they try and stop Newcastle’s modern day duo of Shearer and Ferdinand as Perez & Rondon stroll into town.
Only a few hours rest before our game-week comes to a close with Sunday’s final three matches.
Opening the show is Arsenal’s visit to Leicester before Man City have the chance to reclaim top spot as they go to Burnley.
The comedy is rightly left to the end as the spluttering divas from Man Utd and Chelsea meet at Old Trafford.
The games in full…

The League Codes for FF247 for the 2018/19 season are as follows –
So a team of at least 6/7 penalty takers is the plan next season with VAR coming in. Cardiff should have 2 already
Milivojevic could be very popular for just that reason!
Could be an interesting price next season if Saha is still there
Zaha
I’ve had the same conversation with some FF guys at WHL today. The increase in penalties given by VAR should mean that penalty takers next season will be undervalued. After that, the values should correct themselves, but next season it makes sense to have a team of nailed penalty takers.
It could almost be like having another chip next season – if things pan out the way we’re thinking (more penalties). Certainly until others cotton on to what’s happening. I suppose the flip side is the more penalties there are, the more penalties will be missed.
Any idea who takes the penalties for Sheffield United, anyone?Without a doubt, FPL will price that in.
Guarantee you Mili will be close to 8mln.
It will be interesting to see; also if it’s sophisticated enough to price up goalkeepers with penalty saving pedigree. A good set of fixtures first up for Palace will see Mili as a highly desirable asset. But will the players who win the penalties be there?
Its things like this that should, in theory, give us an advantage over the casual.
Sure Mili for one will be priced up but worth it is, as you alluded to, Zaha is still there.
It’ll also make preseason more interesting than normal for the writers as penalty research becomes vital.
Definitely.
That and nailed 4m enablers from Norwich.
I don’t have any SOU and BOU player and they are scoring…too much. I thought BOU players will be on the beach, what happened to them?
My Saints players have been a bit of a nightmare
Brooks and Salah for Erik and Son is working out nicely here.
Jimenez!
And jota assist! Perfect!
115 pts last week, 104 as of now…hoping I don’t wake up from a dream.
Bingo
Anyone made it to a ton yet? Would probably be a first if you have by half-time on Saturday afternoon! Some with TC Salah must have.
104 pts Init…feel like I am in dreamland
Not 100 this week but i am over 200 in two weeks 😉
Struggling to get there so far. Not much joy so far today with the exception of Jimenez. Son let me down. Though playing Hojiberg is far from ideal which is going to be my problem next week as well
Nice Hojbjerg assist for you there, Smash!
Very happy with that as playing him is not good generally and prob a bit lucky
He’s on for two bonus at the mo, so a nice seven pointer so far for you!
Still miles away – sadly the Duffy brace didn’t happen – but well up on the average. Fairly relaxed about it. Gave a gratified nod to Lloris’ 4 points.
there we go, Gray goal pushed me over 100.
Yeah, Wilson and Jimenez have done a fine job in helping me over 100 already too!
On 84 with double Brighton and city left.. games in play too and BP to come
