Welcome to Fantasy Football Live Match Chat Gameweek 36. It’s almost back to a
sense of normality for GW36. We saw ‘almost’ because we do have another Friday deadline this week (and while we’re talking about it, GW37 is the same). It’s Huddersfield’s chance this week to see if they can win the award for conceding the softest ever penalty to Liverpool as they visit Anfield. James Milner for captain anyone?!
We then move into the weekend proper and it’s a lunchtime kick off at Spurs as Poch’s men host their nemesis from the east end.
Four 3pm matches follow as Everton visit Palace, Fulham try and drag Cardiff down with them, we have a battle of the south coast as Saints host Bournemouth and Watford & Wolves get to re-enact their entertaining Cup semi-final.
The evening match sees Duffy & Dunk get another opportunity to taunt owners as they try and stop Newcastle’s modern day duo of Shearer and Ferdinand as Perez & Rondon stroll into town.
Only a few hours rest before our game-week comes to a close with Sunday’s final three matches.
Opening the show is Arsenal’s visit to Leicester before Man City have the chance to reclaim top spot as they go to Burnley.
The comedy is rightly left to the end as the spluttering divas from Man Utd and Chelsea meet at Old Trafford.

Doherty, Duffy and Boly need dealing with prior to 38. Well, one of them does anyway! If Erik and Son leave can you get Hazard and a cheapie to leave enough for Doherty to a City defender for 38?
There’s many ways to skin this particular cat btw, that was just one gut reaction suggestion.
Erik & Son to Mili & Hazard.
Doherty to Laporte.
Should be doable?
Southampton midfielder over Mili with the fixtures?
Agree offloading the two Spurs mids is the best shout.

Up 420k places since GW32 with 3 100+ scores, rescued an otherwise distinctly average season and am (ambitiously) eyeing a serious ML upset – £100 on the line so why not aim big (1st and 2nd get paid).
Currently in 4th, 27 points behind 3rd, 44 points behind 2nd and 52 points behind 1st.
We all own Mane, Son, Jiminez.
1st owns Aguero, Laporte, TAA, Robertson + Jota as well. Also has triple Brighton and Camarasa.
2nd and 3rd own Sterling but don’t own Aguero. Both also own Eriksen, Doherty, Gray. 3rd has TC to play.
Covers the main points of each team, 1st may be unreachable with the lack of differentials.
Anyway, I have 1FT and £0.3m, team below.
Am currently thinking Eriksen -> Pogba this week with Aguero (c), then Gray -> Rashford/Long final day with Mane or Pogba (c). Allows me to field 2 very strong XI’s each week.
Other option is to hold this week and see where I stand in GW38. However, I’d rather be proactive this week – hoping the top 3 are too busy covering each others teams.
Not looking to sacrifice OR for the ML though. Thanks!
Bean: you need Sterling and captain him to make a difference. Hits don’t help, I know, but your proposed moves don’t inspire me that much if I’m being honest. Pogba can’t have two penalties every game. Does Erik+Son to Sterling+Fraser work?
Both 2nd and 3rd have Sterling and don’t have Aguero + would struggle to get him. Bringing Sterling in won’t help me gain ground assuming they both captain him? I’ll just drop 4 points.
I know Pogba isn’t guaranteed penalties but he’s a differential with 2 great fixtures.
Sure Initt, I could do Erik, son and Doherty to hazard, millivojevic and Walker.

GBP: difficult to say something without knowing your opponents’ team. Can you share a pic of his? What’s the chip situation?

I’d echo the Sterling move which is suggested and throw in Milivojevic as an alternative to Fraser.

I like Sterling for GW38 and you can get him by selling Eriksen and turning Jimenez into Long for the final week.
Which means carrying a transfer over and just using one this week, obviously.
Kiko to Valery should set you up nicely.
I think trying to engineer Mané in now may be more hassle than its worth and you may just have to accept you’ve missed that boat.
Hope that helps or at least gives you something to think over.

Bees – in terms of gametime yes he should be – whether United can keep 1 or even 2 clean sheets is the real conundrum.
Lindelöf’s appearances (4 in the last 6) have been a bit patchy. Not sure why that is, maybe check that out Bees.

I followed the site team advise closely, just replaced zaha with wilson & bednarek with laporte, & look what i got .
Lost the lead already but at least got our mini league “record score”.
