Welcome to Fantasy Football Live Match Gameweek 37. Another Double Game-week you say? We’ll have some of that! Let’s just hope it’s better than the last one… This one begins on Friday night and goes all the way through until next Thursday. And just for housekeeping purposes you need to be on the ball a bit after that as GW38 begins less than two and a half days later on Sunday afternoon.
‘Live Match Chat’ won’t go all the way through to Thursday though, we shall be interrupting it on about Monday with the first of our usual flow of articles to get you ready for that final day push.
GW37 begins with the first of two games for both Brighton and Man United on Friday night.
Saturday then takes it’s usual shape with both an early and a late game bookending four other matches.
The remaining three games are spread over Sunday and that sees the end of our ‘normal’ ten games.
The ‘double’ bit of DGW37 begins on Tuesday with a huge relegation showdown as Cheerful Carlos entertains Horrible Hughes.
Wednesday sees the bulk of the doubles with four games before we finally close out on Thursday with West Ham hosting Man United.

What’s the general consensus of the season overall?
I’ve found it the most unsatisfying season I’ve ever played so far (in about 7 seasons).
I am currently ranked about 300k which is my lowest finish since my first season, but weirdly still ranked 2nd/3rd in most of my leagues. This makes me think most people have had stinkers.
Struggled badly with big teams rotating, missed form players, brought in form players before they sunk following week… literally have not done a thing right all season. So frustrating

I would say this season has been quite boring in terms of actual football but as for FPL… I would have to disagree with you. I am currently 24k in the world and that is my second highest ranking ever; on top of that it looks like I’ve won my ML so I’m pretty happy with the season as a whole and just hoping I can gain 3 more k and get inside the 21k for my best ever ranking haha.
Southampton cleanie tonight anyone? Triple Southampton defence here lol. Almost paid off last match but a poxy Everton goal in the 90th screwed that up. Can’t see it happening but fingers crossed
How on earth did you end up with that?!
I ended up with triple Swansea!! Had Fabianski & Naughton then found out Chilwell was out and the only one I could afford who had decent games was Fernandez! Jones,Cedric & Dummet complete my rock like defence and I have them either sick or part of my BB. It was going to be an easy last game transfer of Cedric to Sakho but it will probably be Naughton and keep Cedric. Arnie a risk as well. Who said this was fun?

Sold a Huddersfield defender for van der horn for a hit. Doesn’t start tonight which just sums up this game week!!

Just thinking. I replaced Chiwell with VdH for a hit. *sighs* Chiwell was injured though and I figured he would at least win me back that -4. I guess this is a bloody no.
VdH groin injury but he’s sitting on the bench. FFS! Also have Fabianski, Ayew and Berdnak playing.
When they play a back 4 VDH don’t play. He only played last game because Naughton was sick
