Welcome to Fantasy Football Live Match Chat Gameweek 38. So here we are, at the final fence and whether you’re leading out front, chasing in the pack or fell a while ago, its a day to enjoy. For it brings a Sunday afternoon deadline, all matches start at the same time and anything can and generally does happen in GW38.
There is still the matter of the top spot to sort out – a win for City at Brighton will confirm another title for Pep, while Liverpool will need to beat Wolves and hope for a miracle from Duffy, Dunk et al.
Spurs need a point at home to Everton to guarantee their CL spot – only a big loss and a commanding win for Arsenal would see a reversal of fortunes for the North London pair.
Chelsea may have one eye on the Europa Final as they travel to Leicester while Watford will surely be fully focused on next weekend’s FA Cup as they host the Hammers.
The relegated teams of Fulham, Cardiff and Huddersfield will hope for one last hurrah as they take on Newcastle, Man Utd and Southampton respectively, while many a FPL manager will be hoping for a goal fest as Palace host Bournemouth.

Well done Cookster! I’m on 72, but waiting on 10 bps (yay!) – which hopefully takes me up to 82. Captained Redmond too, like you, and I thought we were in for an amazing afternoon when I put on the good old World Service coverage on the mobile phone, but twas not to be! Still and all was an exciting afternoon’s listening! Proud of what City and Liverpool have served up this season, as well as what teams like Wolves, Spurs, Newcastle , The Arse, and others have shown periodically.
And thanks to you and the ‘Komrades’ at FF247, for helping and being there to meld this wonderful community!

Closed at 75 this week. A bad season for me. But, I’ve learnt a lot and that shall help me next season
66pts with a hit and Mane/TAA/Redmond (and possibly Ings/Höjbjerg as well
) bonus to come, huge captain fail with Salah, would be in the 80s for sure with Mane captain instead of Salah, but how could have I known, no regrets, hoping that’s good enough to climb 15K in OR to avoid my worst ever season!!

62 here I think. A terrible season. Tons of regrets and I’ve learnt nothing new at all in terms of FPL. Learnt plenty from and about the site here itself though.

Oh dear, that sounds like disappointed parents returning from a horrendous parents evening…..
If memory serves – and I may be wrong – I think you wildcarded just as City’s form went for a Burton before Xmas. That was just terrible luck.
I’m sure you’ll be back as strong as ever next season.
Liverpool’s result killed me: 47 points (with no bonus to come) here.
I did Mané —> Sterling last Gameweek, sadly, for a 4-point hit and that was my downfall.

76 points here to make it 2,339 points in total – really happy with that. Have finished at about 27k which, a few months ago, I would have not thought was impossible! Top of my ML by 48 points too which, again, I would never have believed back before Christmas.

Well I put myself in the mix for the final week but my transfers and captain were poor.
Fraser and Vardy in and armband on Salah not mane.
It’s just the way it goes but super frustrating but I had lined up Zaha.
Cappo Mane and bringing in Zaha would’ve won the ML for me. If only…

Overall a decent season, ended on a bit of a damp squib but you can’t win em all! Time for a break, recharge the battery’s and do it all again in a few months! Hope you’ve all had a good season and look forward to chatting to you all over again next season.
