Fantasy Football Live Match Chat Gameweek 38
Welcome to Fantasy Football Live Match Chat Gameweek 38. So here we are, at the final fence and whether you’re leading out front, chasing in the pack or fell a while ago, its a day to enjoy. For it brings a Sunday afternoon deadline, all matches start at the same time and anything can and generally does happen in GW38.
There is still the matter of the top spot to sort out – a win for City at Brighton will confirm another title for Pep, while Liverpool will need to beat Wolves and hope for a miracle from Duffy, Dunk et al.
Spurs need a point at home to Everton to guarantee their CL spot – only a big loss and a commanding win for Arsenal would see a reversal of fortunes for the North London pair.
Chelsea may have one eye on the Europa Final as they travel to Leicester while Watford will surely be fully focused on next weekend’s FA Cup as they host the Hammers.
The relegated teams of Fulham, Cardiff and Huddersfield will hope for one last hurrah as they take on Newcastle, Man Utd and Southampton respectively, while many a FPL manager will be hoping for a goal fest as Palace host Bournemouth.
The games in full…
Keep track of all the action, the goals, the talking points, right here at FF247 Live Match Chat, an interactive chat which encourages you to keep involved and share your thoughts and emotions as the matches take place.
Good luck to absolutely everyone for Gameweek 38 from all at FF247!

Welcome to our Fantasy Football leagues section.
The League Codes for FF247 for the 2018/19 season are as follows –
Averages.
And for the final time this season….. 65 (top 10k) and 52 (overall).
For the last time this season – good on you mate! You’re a champion with your updates and constant feed of this type of info. Dunno how you do it! Hope the rest of the FF247 Komitburo chip in to buy you a well earned pint or 4 Innit! Many thanks!
AJW.
Terrible day for me to bench taa…
Why would you do that?
Because I’m daft! And had 2 wolves attackers still (because I’m daft).
I sold TAA on WC in GW34 and since then he has absolutely killed me.
Cheers for this.
Another poor GW for me (55) at exactly the wrong time – but I managed to stay in the top 10K – looking like 8K, just, so consecutive <10k finishes, which I've never managed before.
Look forward to hearing later about managers winning their MLs, etc, or coming heroically close. I hope you all did well.
Well done Mr Kralin! Thrifty moves and careful planning kept you up there all year. Thanks for being the genial,,slightly off-beat voice of reason, with a nice dose of benevolent cynicism and an academic slant on things! Cheerio! AJW.
Thanks – and thanks to you too.
I shouldn’t have held Pogba for as long as I did. That was just being bloody-minded.
Poor week for me again but c’est la vie. Brought in some players with potential big scores that didn’t materialise.
Thanks to all on here. Doubt there is a better one.
Bad luck. On another day you’d have got loads of points.
On to next season…
Bang on average for me ! Bringing Vardy in was a big let down ! Best overall rank for 3 seasons so i’m well happy everything considered !
I got Vardy in too Well done Brooky. Great season. Getting TWO teams into the 10K is no mean feat
It’s also against the rules!
Hey Initt. No I mean he got my team into the top 10K as well by his skillful management whilst I was away. You enjoyed the season all in all yourself?
No.
Ha ha cheers Horse.Getting your team into the top 10k is credit to you ! Think it was about 40k when i’d done with it !!!
Another season in the books. Thanks to all of the folks on the site for the warm welcome afforded to all of the newcomers to the site from FF1st, including me. Enjoyed the prediction competition, and the helpful input of the writers. Thank them all.
Look forward to next year, and hope I.m healthy enough to compete with you youngsters.
If I possessed more information as to players & tactics I would post more on the subjects, but being here in the US don’t have the ready info available to those in the UK. Maybe I’ll devote more time over the break to increase my knowledge for next year.
Adain, thank you all!
Glad you made the move from FFF, mosc – see you again next season!
MadHatter and my doubles team is looking to break top 100! Incredible season.
Wondered if there were any prizes attached to the main site league for top 5? Not sure if we’ll make it but just curious.
And we should totally do prizes for the Doubles league next season!
Well done Webstar. Great season
cheers Horse. Wish my personal team hit those heights!
Not a great GW, but I did a crazy move for a -4 point hit 5 mins before deadline i.e. Salah > Mane and that paid off.
Before many of you sign-off for 2 months – it has been my first season at FF247 (after FFF closing down) and has been a fantastic one interacting with you all. Thank you to the site admin team, all article writers and ofcourse fellow managers for such in-depth discussions throughout.
I will remain active in the site and hope to see you many on discussions about transfers, pre-seasons and so on so forth things…and MLS is still on. The Spring season will start in 3 weeks – in case you would like to try please feel free to join. Details will be posted in the “MLS Chat Room”.
Nice one, cheers GM. You’ve all been lovely and a breath of fresh air and it’s been a pleasure to see you every week.
I binned MLS after 2 weeks due to losing a key member of personnel on here (temporarily) which quadrupled my workload but now that FPL is done I’m more than happy to pick MLS up again and restart. Let’s get a league going for the 2nd half?
Ok sure…we are completing 11th week. The Spring season ends on 15th week. Then everything resets and Fall season starts from Gw16-31. We can create a classic league for Fall season.
If anyone newbie to MLS want to play Fall season (Gw16 onwards) – you can login to MLS Fantasy site, create the team and play as practice Gw12-15 to get a feel of it.
@inittowinit – may be you can also play the last 4 weeks to get back to the speed where you left.
I couldn’t agree more! It was my first season at FF247 as well and I can honestly say it’s a wonderful community here with people genuinely helping each other and expressing empathy towards other managers’ ups and downs, truly wonderful site you’ve got here!! I don’t really know all of you who are writing the articles and managing the site, there must be a good bunch, but I can say that I truly appreciate how much time and effort you guys put into this site and the articles, and I raise my hat to you all!
You’ve all been a great addition and really added value to an already amazing community! Here’s to doing it all again next season!
I have thoroughly enjoyed FF247.
The admin tean have welcomed me from the old FFF website and have helped me tremendously this season,
Thank you to Init, Cookie, Smash, Kralin, GP, Zed Leppelin amongst the others for all your help. It has been greatly appreciated.
Am on Twitter if you wanna keep in touch, if not, I will be back next season.
Cheers Hammerfan. Look forward to seeing you (will remember to order in extra Valium).
Lol, thanks Kralin, will need it
Look forward to seeing you over the summer GM.
OK guys. Can someone explain to me how a defender who lets in 5 goals and makes 1 assist gets more BPS than a forward who provides 3 yes 3 assists and wins the game 5-3. I just don’t think the way they score it is right.
Because a whole lot of other stuff go in it as well, not just goals and assists… Zaha also got a yellow for example, Smith didn’t, perhaps Zaha was caught offside a lot, missed big chances, lost possession more, had inferior passing percentage, and so on and so forth… I agree the way they calculate it isn’t correct but it is what it is…
Thought I’d show off the T-shirt
Nice one Smash, after all you have been through. Where was it though?
Judging by the attendance I’d say the Etihad 😉
Brilliant that, nice one Smasher!
Brilliant Smash – is that Leicester – Chelsea?
That was Brighton v Ciry
What a game
Great stuff Smasher! Glad you had a fantastic day and got to see the Champions.
And Duffy 😉
Fantastic Smash! Has Duffy passed the eye test? :))
Not sure why I thought you would look a bit more like Diego Costa.
Oh yeah!!! Looking good mate!!
Nice one, Smash! Looks like you had a great match to see too!
That’s great Smash. Looking fine!
