Welcome to Fantasy Football Live Match Chat Gameweek 30+.
GW30+ Deadline; Wednesday 17th June 5pm GMT

Yep, it’s finally time for GW30 PLUS. And not GW39 as some of us suspected it may be. Looks like Scudamore may never get his wish!

As alluded to in our Fixtures Analysis article for GW30+ there looks like scant chance to do many articles, if indeed any, between each of these GW’s. As such we will not do a fresh Live Match Chat for each week, we shall simply update this one as we go along with the latest deadlines and fixtures. We shall endeavour to post the line-ups prior to each phase of the relevant GW and our usual FPL Countdown Timer (to be found above the latest comments section) will once again be active.

Tips will be dispensed in the chat below but feel free to get involved in said chat, whether that’s asking for advice or answering others. You can check all the latest odds by visiting onlinecasinosports.com

FF247 SITE TEAM GW30+
This is where LMC will take a slight twist. Given said lack of opportunity to post any full or meaningful articles it is our intention to simply post our weekly transfer and Captain choice on here prior to each deadline. As a result this article will be posted way in advance of when it usually is, probably not long after any given GW ends.

GW30+ TRANSFER
We have SOLD lots of people and BOUGHT an equal amount to replace them. We are pretty sure that’s how it works, if we remember correctly. Hold on though, we did not use the unlimited transfers opportunity that fpl gave to us as some would think, we went for the free hit instead. Why you may ask? In short, because we like our team and if not for a DGW we would want to keep it. So we decided to go for the option that allows to play this double confidently (sort of) and gets us back to our original team for the weeks ahead.

That sounded somewhat straightforward, yet as always when deliberating over the make up of the squad we had some for using the unlimited transfers instead and we even had one idiot suggesting transfers based on a bench boost that we had decided we were not going to play. Good thing we didn’t go with the site team Zoom meeting call where members could have watched, that would have been a bit embarrassing for some on our committee.

In the end. we had a core we sort of wanted to work in and before you wonder why we didn’t include certain players, just know that the site team’s budget is not great, so we were limited in what we could do compared to some other teams you will see out there. So back to that core I mentioned, City three, Grealish, Auba and a Sheffield party at the back. Sure we gave Mahrez a run for a day and Laca was in there also, but in the end we were not confident in their minutes, not that we are overly optimistic on anyone’s minutes for this GW, but at least history tells us there are more reliable options out there, so we ditched them. Sterling was the player we really wanted that was not in the squad before we posted this article so we made a few changes here and there, dropped Alonso and had to include Saka in the XI, but for the most part we were all happy enough with the side to roll with it.

GW30+ CAPTAIN
Our Captain for GW30+ will be Sergio Aguero. We all know what he is capable of and he won the vote easily with 4 votes. We are sure Kun will not be trotted out for the amount of minutes we would all love, but assuming he doesn’t pull a hammy or something, it should hopefully be enough to get us something decent. Raheem had one vote from that same guy looking to improve the bench for a bench boost that is not going to be played. So while he might not be wrong on Sterling, this committee member can’t be trusted right now.

Our Vice-Captain will be Grealish. KdB won the vote for VC, but one of our members basically overruled everyone and made Grealish vc as he did not want a player from the same squad as Kun just in case there was a cancellation. Guess the only surprising thing about the whole matter is that Init wasn’t the one doing the overruling.

WC draft keeping in mind next few GWs. Top of ML, just played BB, still have FH and TC.
Any changes or other suggestions? 0.0 ITB

Want to take punt on Utd and Wolves right upto the end of season.

It looks really good. I was trying to figure out a way to extend your budget to get Doherty over Saiss, but the best I can think of without sacrificing a bit leaves you just short. But I will pitch you the idea anyway and let you decide.

Not sure you will like this, but just a thought. Say you dropped Rui to Martinez. Saka to Guendouzi and Holgate to any 4.0 defender, you could afford Doherty then. Normally I wouldn’t suggest dropping so many players just to get one and it well might not be worth it, but the likelihood that you use Holgate is minimal and frankly you would only use Saka if one of your players did not play at all and looking at that front 7 that you would probably start, that is also unlikely. That would give you 3 very good defenders and a great front 7. I know Patricio is likely to outscore Martinez but the difference between them and keepers in general is not a lot. Only 7 points between Rui and Arsenal keepers this season.

      • PorcelainBiscuit says:

valid points…how about downgrading Ings to DCL?
although Martinez is going to get gametime now but am a little wary about Ars defense.
Also Rui + Saiss might give me more in the end compared to just Doherty from Wolves defense dont you think?
Regarding Holgate, yes he is a cheaper option but he might feature once in a while when they have an easy Home fixture.
lastly out of Saka and Gendouzi would rather have Saka if I dont need cash anywhere else

        • @Porcelain, I rather have Saka also, but if I am not going to use him it doesn’t really matter much. Sure, I have the extra cash, I rather have him sitting there is an auto sub, but if I can upgrade a starting player I rather do it. As far as Holgate, I am not sure when he features if you have Doherty, VvD and WB in your starting defence. Guess at some point he will seem like a better play than one of the big names, still not sure you drop a big name for Holgate though smile

I get the Patricio and Saiss vs Doherty. But it’s not just Doherty on his own, Martinez will count also. I get it, I don’t trust the Arsenal defence either. However the Arsenal keepera and Doherty have easily outscored Patricio and Saiss.

Still, if you feel the double Wolves going forward, that’s what you should do. Would hate to go against my instincts and have it cost me. I rather do well or stink it up with my decisions in the end, Just thought I take the time to expand on my reasoning.

      • PorcelainBiscuit says:

I can fit in Doherty above Saiss and still keep Rui if I do these changes..

VVD > Gomez (sideways move with lesser probability of goals)
Ings > DCL (Ings has tougher games coming up)

      Bigpopz says:

      Nice team
Why not downgrade VVD to Gomez
Might go towards Saiss to Doherty?

      • PorcelainBiscuit says:

I’d like to then see how Pool line up now that they have other fit CBs as well, do they continue with VVD+ Gomez. In that case yes i can think about the downgrade

Saiss to Doherty is a good call yes, maybe Ings to DCL might also free up the necessary funds

    Smash says:

Hmm how to keep Doherty on my wildcard…

  3. 279
    Smash says:

Today’s draft. Not sure on Salah or Mane tbh. I always prefer Salah.

    • 279.1

Considering their price I prefer Salah also. Bit different when there was way more value in owning Mane.

Really like that side, Tammy over Ings will be what decides how you differentiate yourself from a lot of the upcoming WC sides.

    • 279.2

Smash, it looks great but I’ve decided to go pool free. The guys will have the title by the end of next week and will head to the beach with all youngsters playing. This is my WC draft which might change after the rest of the games have finished for this round.

      • TheDreamers says:

Hi Ivan. Some interesting choices there which I guess is part of the fun.
I’ll ask you the same as I asked Smash. Why Aurier? 3 Spurs seems overkill. I had lined up Aguero to Kane – not anymore.

      • Smash says:

I’m not sure what to make of the possible rotation with Liverpool. I see reduced mins as they will win the league soon prob against Palace. Thing is there will be a quick turnaround with the new season I think so they won’t want to lose too much momentum by playing all the kids is my guess. As for your team I like it except Kane. I’m not convinced he’s the same player any more and takes a lot of cash

    • 279.3
      TheDreamers says:

      hi Smash
Why Aurier? Think Spurs have only 4 CS all year or something.

Is Holgate actually nailed? Taylor (Burnley maybe?)

Why u wildcarding? I am in two minds

      • Smash says:

Aurier is almost a right winger when he plays. Spurs looked a bit more solid but the fixtures are really good. He’s also 4.9 which ain’t that expensive. Holgate seems pretty nailed anyway. He’s more so currently as Mina is injured. Taylor is a good shout and tbh I would prefer him to Kiko. If Salah goes down in price which he prob will do if he’s on the bench tomorrow which I’m half expecting I’ll take him. Though I don’t think he will play every game because they have Pieters so I’m anticipating some rotation there. Lascelles is also a good option at 4.3

      • Smash says:

Wildcarding I had to do something with my team. I maybe should have played free hit and thought I could change my mind later but I can’t

    • 279.4
      Kralin says:

Looks pretty good to me Smash and Abraham could be a very good pick.

      Not tempted by Ings?

Aurier has barged his way onto my shortlist for the critical third defender slot.

      • Smash says:

I don’t think so. He has been on fire but I have reservations. One his fixtures are terrible and I don’t see many Saints wins. Plus with the amount of games I worry he will be rotated more than your average player I remember before him not starting two games in a week

        • Kralin says:

Fair enough. He probably falls into the keep if you have, ponder if you haven’t category.

Arsenal next up may see heavy traffic in his direction.

        • Kralin says:

I must say though that my eyes rolled into the back of my head when I saw the next GW started on Tuesday. Blimey. Means I need to apply my brain to the wildcard tomorrow.

Vardy v Son and the third defender is my main headache.

I also noticed yourselves have Man City, which means I may throttle back on any plans for Chelsea players just yet.

        • Smash says:

Yeah mine was all over the place before today. Games have helped it a bit. I was unsure on the Vardy v Son thing but then could not find a midfielder I wanted if I went with Vardy. Yeah Chelsea playing City next is not great for their assets and Abraham presuming he starts

        • Kralin says:

I’m leaning back to Pope in goal though. Martinez’ price is great and ok fixtures but I think I prefer Pope, all things considered. For now, anyway – if the price difference means it enables something good I may reconsider.

  4. 280
    Elleffcee says:

Can anyone tell me how Vardy played today ?

  5. 281
    TheDreamers says:

For some reason my image sizes are large so old schooling it
    Leno/Henderson/TAA/Basham/Doherty/Targett/Egan/KDB/Saka/Mahrez/Barnes/Grealish/Ings/PEA/Aguero

    v WC draft
    Martinez/Martin/TAA/Basham/Doherty/Targett/Egan/KDB/Saka/Mane/Salah/Fernandez/Ings/Jimenze/Nketiah

Gives the option of Selling Liverpool mid to Son or Pogba or whomever.

    Worth it?
    Thoughts?

  6. 282

@Elle, I didn’t watch the game, but I was interested in how he did so I was glancing a little through stats.

Sky says he had a quiet game and only Barnes had a lower rating from them.

Vardy only had 2 shots and looking at Understat it looks like he had one decent chance with a .015 rating, the other wasn’t much of a chance. Soyuncu had a great chance. Maddy took a third of all their shots with 5. Barnes looks like he had a mare.
