Fantasy Football Live Match Chat Gameweek 4
After two bumper game-weeks, perhaps GW3 was merely a reality check. It matters not though as GW4 is upon us already, with fresh promise. It’s quite the condensed affair too, beginning on Saturday and ending on Sunday. Almost old school. Almost.
It begins with Leicester hosting Liverpool in the early game, giving many a Salah captainer a weekend long headache should he fail to produce. Five 3pm games follow in quick succession. Brighton will attempt to keep the Mitro show at bay. Bournemouth will hope to somehow halt Alonso’s inevitable march in to everybody’s fantasy team once again. Zaha will be looking to put one more nail in Hughes’ coffin. Wally will attempt to make amends for Richarlison’s stupidity. And Arnie will make a last ditch attempt to stop Pellegrini being fed to the Wolves.
The evening game should pique some interest as Man City play host to Ashley’s mercenaries. A classic case of an evening captain over an early one once again, in reverse? Perhaps!
Sunday sees us out with three away games for Arsenal, Man United and Spurs, going to Cardiff, Burnley and Watford respectively.

Pretty average week for me with 53 points. Need some help with whether or not to play the wildcard.
Can see at least 7-8 players that can be replaced.
1. Play my wildcard get Alonso, possibly hazard and potentially remove King, Peltier, Walcott, Zaha, Mkhitaryan, Luiz.
2. Take a 4 point hit to get Fraser and Alonso for Mkhi/Wally and Luiz.
Also any news on Zaha and Walcott’s injury? Any help appreciated. Thank you.
Here’s my team
Hi KP. No need to wildcard there. The -4 would be decent, but wait until after the IB for injury news – neither Wally or Zaha have any football over the IB so they have a fortnight to recover
+1 on the above.
how you been KP? havent spoken to you in a while.
I tend to check http://premierinjuries.com/injury-table.php for injuries, plus keeoing my fingers crossed and muttering a few incantations.
I don’t think you need to wildcard but it’s an entirely personal decision.
thats a good one kralin. i tend to follow this one: https://www.physioroom.com/news/english_premier_league/epl_injury_table.php
Thanks
Best Zaha replacement then?
Mitrovic away at City GW5?
Ings – cannot play vs Liverpool in GW6?
Arnie?
Thoughts?
You binning him then, Cookie? If I know he’s out I will probably wildcard, but so hard to call without any info on its severity!
The main reason I want to keep him is due to a lack of options below his price tag, at least until after Mitro plays City.
Dunno yet AT. The chat is a 4 week lay off for him but that’s just chatter.
City have conceded a goal in each of the last three games. Mitrovic is a class player and he can score there 😉
There’s Wilson as well to consider.
Kralin, sadly I already have King.
Yes, join the club. I’m probably stuck with him for at least another week, too. Bournemouth’s fixtures aren’t too bad but I can’t say I’m abuzz with excitement at his prospects.
Is Vardy back this week?
Yep Vardy is back. 8.9mln. Decent shout that Init.
Different price range I know mate but not sure what you have to spend and I’m assuming you have 2 FT anyway and possibly a midfield issue somewhere, simply because we all seem to!
Leicester have a really nice run of fixtures. Vardy and Maddison both look good picks to me.
Evening Cookie.Probably Mitro or Wilson for me.Then what to do about Mikki ?
Hey Brooky, you ok? Yeah Mikhi is a toughie. Then again Rambo & Ozil must be due an injury/illness.
What about Raúl Jiménez. Wolves playing Burnley home and Wolves have decent run after GW6
Hey Jon, yeah I briefly considered him. I think Burnley will improve defensively now they have no Europa to think about.
I a agree with you on Burnley defence. I have Hart as my team.
Guys not committed to a wildcard change however toying around with ideas. Thoughts on this team?
Not committed to it but still toying around with it at gone midnight, hmmm……
Looks like a very functional squad, I’m still unsure on the lack of Salah. Then again I have the feeling I’ll still be saying that in 10 weeks!
site team what are your plans
FPL feet up for a week?
Don’t mean to be so deliberately flippant but if our plans get discussed before a week on Wednesday I’d be very surprised. There’s not a chance on earth we’d make a move before then anyway.
The only way to bring in Alonso and Hazard is 8ph…with no money left.
Will out D. Luiz, Walcott and Auba (for Wilson).
Worth it? Have to pull the trigger very soon or too late.
Maybe just get Pedro and Alonso and leave Hazard for now. Having said that, Pedro as we know may not play 90 mins each game, making the likes of Maddison, Neves and gasp Walcott more appealing at that price.
Wilson’s a good pick.
Suggestions? Wildcard active 0 itb
Very nice!
I think it’s fine (assuming that is your wildcard side, not your current side). Just make sure the players you get in are as nailed as they can be. Is Bennett?
If I were you I’d research the likes of Maddison, Neves etc as possibilities for Pedro (as Pedro isn’t a certain starter).
