Fantasy Football Live Match Chat Gameweek 5

Welcome to Fantasy Football Live Match Chat Gameweek 5.
We have no less than seven games to get us back into the swing of things on Saturday and many a captaincy decision will be tested early doors as Liverpool host Newcastle in the first one at lunchtime.

We then have five 3pm games as Burnley visit Brighton for a clash of styles, a beleaguered Man United host a vibrant Leicester, Sheffield United look to continue where they left off against Chelsea as they play a Saints team unsure of their identity or ability, Spurs look to rediscover theirs as they face Palace and then Wolves look to shake off the Europa shackles when they face the kids of Chelsea.

Saturday draws to a conclusion as Man City hammer Norwich.

Sunday sees two games; in the first Bornemouth will be looking to kickstart their season with a win against Everton and the later game sees Watford host Arsenal.

We have a Monday game this week and it’s the ever improving and promising Villa against the seemingly never-improving and perpetualy disappointing West Ham.

The games in full…

29 points on my bench this game week

Is it just panic point chasing bringing abraham in for barnes tonight, especially considering the next game and a potential injury?

Got 2FT & Can do mount to ceballos and Barnes to tammy, but not if there is a price change

I am in the same boat.

All I can find on Tammy is that he had a knock or cramp.

      I posted this on comment 103.2;

I am starting to think that Chelsea can have a fair few chances against Liverpool with their apparent shaky defense, there is Champions League games also and if Tammy has a knock he would miss this game and then play against Liverpool, where Liverpool are away for their Champions League game on Tuesday where Chelsea are at home for their match.

Who will score more over the longer term, Barnes or Tammy, who knows but even though it is early days and no offense to Burnley I would think that Chelsea are the better team and will score more goals over the season.

How many changes would warrant playing WC?

I’m on the fence right now on whether to WC.

I reckon I want to make 5/6 changes to the team.

    Need a vote

Who are the 5/6 changes Kunal? I can’t see it myself, think you only need one or two!

      • Kunal says:

Son, Digne, TAA,a 4.5 def for Walker Peters, Abraham I guess
I guess I just need a Trossard replacement urgently and maybe Abraham to cash in early on the prices, rest can wait

        any ideas on Trossard replacement?
maybe auba and Trossard out for Son and Abraham?

        • igy4 says:

Well Pukki won’t be going anywhere and the other two haven’t even played yet! What if Haller and Auba both score this weekend? You don’t have the worst front line to be honest!

I get the urge to jump on all the form players from this week, I’ve done it plenty but it rarely always works like that! Nothing saying they won’t blank next week and all the players you drop pick up points!

I like the Son and Abraham moves but a WC is definitely not needed!

        • Kunal says:

I think I needed this advice haha, I’ve just been patient this season and avoided hits for price rises and missed a couple of bandwagons.
What you say makes sense tho. WC is a no go.

as for those moves, I’ll first let Auba play and then see, cheers for the reply mate

    KP says:

Need some help guys. 39 points with only 2 left. Have got captaincy wrong 5 out of 5 times now. Only positive is I still got WC left. Have 2FT and 0.5 in the bank. What to do with this lot? Should I activate my WC?

    Have some questions..
    1. Was Abraham’s injury bad, he’s yellow flagged on the site.
    2. Do you guys think its better to have Aguero instead of Sterling? I thought Sterling was a must have at the start.
    3. Transfers I’m thinking of Greenwood + Van Dijk -> Abraham + 4.3 defender. Good transfers?

  5. 113
    KP says:

Yeah, I don’t think there are any at the moment but I’ll be okay with having a non playing 4.0m defender just to enable the Abraham move or maybe I can switch Robertson instead of Van Dijk. But I feel Robertson is worth the extra 0.4 over Van Dijk. What do you reckon?

    The B says:

51 points with Haller and Mings to play. Salah (C) over Sterling worked.
