Fantasy Football Live Match Chat Gameweek 5
Welcome to Fantasy Football Live Match Chat Gameweek 5.
We have no less than seven games to get us back into the swing of things on Saturday and many a captaincy decision will be tested early doors as Liverpool host Newcastle in the first one at lunchtime.
We then have five 3pm games as Burnley visit Brighton for a clash of styles, a beleaguered Man United host a vibrant Leicester, Sheffield United look to continue where they left off against Chelsea as they play a Saints team unsure of their identity or ability, Spurs look to rediscover theirs as they face Palace and then Wolves look to shake off the Europa shackles when they face the kids of Chelsea.
Saturday draws to a conclusion as Man City hammer Norwich.
Sunday sees two games; in the first Bornemouth will be looking to kickstart their season with a win against Everton and the later game sees Watford host Arsenal.
We have a Monday game this week and it’s the ever improving and promising Villa against the seemingly never-improving and perpetualy disappointing West Ham.
The games in full…

On a bus so not watching the match but love bbcs comments :big-lol:
Don’t fall off.
Pretty rough start to the season… Considering Wildcard. Which of these two options do you prefer and are there any suggested changes? Thanks in advance.
I quite like team two. Problem is that’s pretty much my side now and I’ve not had a great start
Thanks Smash. I also like the second one as it’s a bit more balanced.
It’s been a tough season so far, hope you luck starts to turn!
Is there a competition for RWC Japan ?
The Telegraph are doing one: https://fantasyrugby.telegraph.co.uk/rugby-world-cup/home#?icid=fantasy-rugby_login_navbar
Free to enter, I think.
Goodbye Kane, Hello PEA!
2 goals in the name of PEA.
What a shocking GW
37 with Mings to go here 😯
40 with Ceballos playing. I have 12 points on the bench as well. So so bad I thought my team looked good :scratch_one-s_head:
36 with deulo to go, so hmm 35 mb?
scratch that, am now doing well in the bottom league with an assist from deulo 😉
Indeed, think I have very similar team to yours… Think the team is quite good, but feels like all the players I don’t have are scoring loads of points, and the other teams are all doing better… Tempted to play the WC but then again don’t wanna chase points!
Gonna be a big fat red arrow, no Auba, no Aguero, no Abraham, no Mount…. The captain fail doesn’t help
What do you reckon Smash, Chelsea have Pool next, don’t wanna get them yet but after Pool the fixtures are great, very tempted by Mount and Abraham now…. Pool aren’t keeping cleanies but I doubt Chelsea will score a lot against them….
I think Chelsea score against Liverpool. Mount and Abraham look great value
Ceballos benched, he needs to go, he didn’t work, Emery is too stupid of a manager…
I could do Barnes/Ceballos/Robertson –> Abraham/Mount/5.5 def…. Hmmmm…
Yeah moves might make sense. Think I’m stuck with Ceballos for another week
