Fantasy Football Live Match Chat Gameweek 5

Welcome to Fantasy Football Live Match Chat Gameweek 5.
We have no less than seven games to get us back into the swing of things on Saturday and many a captaincy decision will be tested early doors as Liverpool host Newcastle in the first one at lunchtime.

We then have five 3pm games as Burnley visit Brighton for a clash of styles, a beleaguered Man United host a vibrant Leicester, Sheffield United look to continue where they left off against Chelsea as they play a Saints team unsure of their identity or ability, Spurs look to rediscover theirs as they face Palace and then Wolves look to shake off the Europa shackles when they face the kids of Chelsea.

Saturday draws to a conclusion as Man City hammer Norwich.

Sunday sees two games; in the first Bornemouth will be looking to kickstart their season with a win against Everton and the later game sees Watford host Arsenal.

We have a Monday game this week and it’s the ever improving and promising Villa against the seemingly never-improving and perpetualy disappointing West Ham.

The games in full…

Sigh – pre wildcard I was at 1.7m and now after wildcard I’m at 3.0m

Planning ahead for next week already. Rico got an assist yesterday, would you play him here? Probably take mount’s place due to difficult fixture…

Well folks, looks like it’s been another one of those weeks, thoughts turning to next week. Roll the FT with this lot and hope for the best? Lol

Triple city for the season will pay off, unfortunately it won’t always go to plan ie last weekend. If you want to easy you mind 1 of them to son will give you a lot of funds and you’ll still have nice cover with 2 of them.

I’ll come back to you on which one to lose after Tuesday night. With which one I’d lose, as of now with 2 blanks sterling is on the chopping block, I am sticking with him this week (unless injured)

I would keep triple city and roll over the FT

Had a good week with scoring 60 points and McGin to still go, did Kane -> Pukki with one of the 2FT’s. Will use other FT after CL games.
Have thought of 2 transfers, thoughts on that or also any other suggestions!

    1) McGin to KDB, will leave me with 0ITB and think City had a hiccup against Norwich who were brilliant, also have Sterling only so will help in covering Aguero!

    2) King to Wilson, although looks sideways but looking at fixtures Wilson is going to outscore most of the forwards from gw 6-10 and King played on the wings and he was brilliant so he will be playing there. Also these move leaves with 8.3 to upgrade McGin!

Really don’t know what to do with the defense without a downgrade on one of premiums! The only one lm considering is Aguero, as l think he’ll be rested with CL coming up…. Although, last season Jesus covered most CL matches. Just have a niggly feeling that Jesus isn’t near fit enough and Sterling might drop into the Striker role for PL matches.

    Anyway, any suggestions welcome ??

Don’t worry mate – ‘Jesus saves!’ (Although not sure if he’s much of a goal-keeper?) and Kun will be (should be) right for the PL matches (hopefully!). Give these boys another trot next GW and you’ll be alright! smile

Hello everyone – looks like my GW mirrored the Aussie performance in cricket – I appear to be all out for 46! I can hear a Springsteen song in my head (‘I’m going down, down, down, down’ from the Born In the USA album!)! BUT I’m determined not to touch my team this week – not giving in to panic reflexes, cos I love this bunch of potential world-beaters too much and I want to give them a chance to redeem themselves over the coming weeks! Have a look for yourselves – my team is linked (hopefully that bloody /a/ thing doesn’t reappear!) for all to sneer at! Have dropped 200k spots without the last match being played (I can see all those Haller owners kicking up dust, ready to overtake me!), but just like Gen Macarthur in WWII, ‘I shall return’! smile
