Welcome to Fantasy Football Live Match Chat Gameweek 6.

Friday night fixture gets this gameweek rolling and what better to get us going then watching Saints let in a couple of goals into the Bournemouth boys that we no longer own.

That is followed by 5 games on Saturday. The early game pits two not good enough teams, one is not good enough for fourth (Leicester) and the other (Spurs) is not good enough to compete for a title. Three fixtures come around at 3pm with the Barnes mini train vs the massive Pukki train facing off. We also see Everton take on Sheffield and City’s Otamendi pass the ball to Hornets in front of goal. The late game needs deleting, but our guess is that they will play it anyway. Toon vs Brighton, there we said it.

Sunday gives us a somewhat unusual four fixtures, as in more games than usual, not as weird. The two early matches pits a surprising Palace side against an also surprising Wolves side albeit for different reasons, as Wolverhampton finds themselves with only 3 points so far. The Hammers take on Ole’s United in the other early game. The two late encounters has the two clowns at centreback who play for Arsenal entertaining Aston Villa, while first place Liverpool go to Stamford Bridge and score five when Lampard decides his team can play straight up against the champions to be.

The games in full…

Aubameyang + Mount or Aguero + Cantwell?

After seeing United play in the flesh today they really do suck and I won’t be bringing any of their players in any time soon

Best defender at 4.6 going forward. Soyuncu, Tomori or anyone else?

After seeing TAA bang in that free-kick, I feared the worst, but seeing Robbo’s assist shortly afterwards was relieving. His mazy run forwards in the 94th minute may well have pushed him into joint-pole position for 3 BPs as well.

McGinn being set for 3 BPs despite Arsenal coming back to claim the win too! Dendoncker’s antics have been forgotten already.

Excellent scores on the boards tonight, guys, congratulations. This has been a challenging season so far.

Zinchenko –> Otamendi DONE DEAL :jumpy:

      Smash says:

Think I’m going to downgrade Zinchenko this week so I can turn Ceballos into Mount. I like Otamendi though. Though I think Mito is a bigger fan

      • Zed Leppelin says:

Yeah I’d have done that if I had Ceballos, but I sold him for Cantwell last week… Thought about getting Mount but that would require downgrading Zinchenko to a 4.0m defender (and a hit), and so I thought I’ll just play simple once and get Ota instead, will get the price rise too tonight…

      • Zed Leppelin says:

Plus I’m thinking I wanna get rid of Digne soon, so him to a 4.5m def enables Cantwell to Mount later… Ota at 5.4m nailed City def at least until Stones is out is pretty darn good value to turn down…

        • Kruzcampo says:

Thought about that deal but went Zinc to Aurier to leave a City space available for Digne to Mendy next week. I have KDB & Sterling at the moment.

        • Smash says:

Yeah I have that at the back of my mind as well. Mendy in for Digne potentially later down the line

        • Zed Leppelin says:

I just don’t trust Aurier to play all games, and I don’t trust Mendy to play all games either, think Zinchenko will still get games… I’d like to monitor those two a lot more going forward, WC still in the pocket so can get Mendy/Aurier on a WC if they seem to be nailed, but for now I think Ota is safer/better as my bench is quite poor so I want nailed players

        • Kruzcampo says:

Someone posted a quote from Pep where he said that Mendy gave much more in forward positions than Zinc. The poster said it was “Brutal”
          So I sacked Zinc!

        • Zed Leppelin says:

Yeah it was Smash, doesn’t say Mendy is nailed though and with Pep you’ll just never know, is Zinchenko suddenly demoted to the bench in every premier league game going forward?

        • Smash says:

Yeah it was me. It don’t mean Mendy will be nailed in fact I think it might be a good few weeks before I consider him as he’s not played in a while. It was just a bit condemning on Zinchenko’s long term prospects

        • Kruzcampo says:

Mendy is always Peps preferred left back and once match fit will be nailed. In next week as I have 3 defenders that can cover both Mendy and Aurier if not selected.

        • Smash says:

He is. He’s almost not played much in two years and only lasted 45 mins. In a couple of weeks time though he could be golden

        • Zed Leppelin says:

Yeah exactly it’s clear Zinchenko needs to go, it’s just not clear at all imo whether Mendy is the best replacement… Can always move Ota to Mendy later, will enjoy a few Ota price rises first as he seems to be very popular now and then it’s almost a straight swap to Mendy down the line (perhaps on WC) if Mendy really is nailed (which is highly unlikely I think with Peptation)

        • Smash says:

Yeah exactly. Pretty sensible I think Zed

        • Kruzcampo says:

Building up his fitness is key and I will be watching carefully to see how he goes. I can just sit with Digne who has 3 reasonable fixtures after the destruction City will wreak on them. Unless it sends Everton into terminal decline, then I will get rid ASAP!

Run out of ideas. 2 FT and again zilch ITB.
If I do KDB → Sterling will have 2.3 to do something with James :scratch_one-s_head:
