Welcome to Fantasy Football Live Match Chat Gameweek 6.

Friday night fixture gets this gameweek rolling and what better to get us going then watching Saints let in a couple of goals into the Bournemouth boys that we no longer own.

That is followed by 5 games on Saturday. The early game pits two not good enough teams, one is not good enough for fourth (Leicester) and the other (Spurs) is not good enough to compete for a title. Three fixtures come around at 3pm with the Barnes mini train vs the massive Pukki train facing off. We also see Everton take on Sheffield and City’s Otamendi pass the ball to Hornets in front of goal. The late game needs deleting, but our guess is that they will play it anyway. Toon vs Brighton, there we said it.

Sunday gives us a somewhat unusual four fixtures, as in more games than usual, not as weird. The two early matches pits a surprising Palace side against an also surprising Wolves side albeit for different reasons, as Wolverhampton finds themselves with only 3 points so far. The Hammers take on Ole’s United in the other early game. The two late encounters has the two clowns at centreback who play for Arsenal entertaining Aston Villa, while first place Liverpool go to Stamford Bridge and score five when Lampard decides his team can play straight up against the champions to be.

The games in full…

  1. Hi Gang 2fts and nothing in the bank. I was thinking Sterling to Bilva/Dilva and Barnes to Auba/Kane. Or give Sterling another chance and maybe just switch Digne to Otamendi?

  2. 88 points this week. Well satisfied with that! Finnaly hit some form again after a nasty slump post GW1.
Digne and Ceballo are looking useless though.
What do you reckon to dropping digne, ceballos and greenwood to tammy, bench fodder hayden and a new defender at 5.2 or less. (343)
Got 2 FT so it would just be a – 4.
    Seem worthwhile?

    • Could also avoid the – 4 and just drop digne to Rico and still just about squeeze tammy in for greenwood. Bench ceballos and deal with him next week

  3. Do you think it’s worth it to do a early transfer, Zinchenko to Otamendi tonight? Seems like ota will go up 0,1….

  4. To go against the grain – I would. Worst case ( very unlikely), he plays midweek n is injured? You have Rico to play

    • Shite – that was reply to above

    • Why would he play midweek though? If Pep plays Ota midweek he’s clueless imo, Laporte and Stones out, he can’t afford to lose Otamendi too in a Milky Cup game against Preston… Would actually be a good opportunity to try Walker CB that game smile

  5. Who would you rather to replace Zinchenko?

    A. Lundstrum
    B. Soyuncu
    C. Other (current back line is TAA, Digne, Pieters and Rico)

    • Tomori/Otamendi perhaps

      • I was keeping an eye on Tomori and I’m not too impressed with the Chelsea boys plus they have lost Emerson and Christensen now so I’d say it’s still watch and wait.

As for Ota I’m kind of considering ignoring City as they are looking dodgy.

        • Dodgier than Villa and Leicester? Lundstram, for instance, doesn’t play Everton every week smile

        • City have kept 3 CS, Sheffield Utd 2 and Leicester 1 but looking at Leicesters fixtures they figure should go up.

        • Think City will keep a lot more cleanies than Sheffield and Leicester in the future, and Ota is so cheap, plus he seems to have attacking threat whenever he plays, and he has KDB feeding him corners and FKs…

        • I do like Soyuncu though too for his price, if you need the extra money somewhere else smile

        • I wouldn’t call Ota cheap mate. He’s basically the same price as Zinc is.

        • I meant cheap for a City def, as was Zinchenko

    • Or should I do a -4 and do Zinc and Digne to both A & B?

    • I think Soyuncu will come good. He has a nice run of games coming up and Leicester are flying high. As long as you can bench him for Liverpool game. I think that’s my plan this week

      • Yeah that’s what I’m currently thinking. I could bench him for Rico against Arsenal or Dendoncker but I might actually use the money to upgrade Den next week.

    • B for me too, Matt, and avoid any 4-point hits for two defenders at all (literal) costs.

    • Cheers lads I think I will go with Soyuncu

  6. The autosubs are on if you want to go and see Lundstram in all his “spawny” glory. :laugh2:

    • Well my score looks a lot more healthy

    • And there I was searching for a title for the Site Team article this week…. Wood is Good and Morning Glory were spinning around. And bingo, you nailed it!

    • Tell me about it. My main ML rival captained Sterling, with KDB vice and has Lundstram first up after Zinchenko no show. Picked up 30 points by luck

      • Yeah that’s me. Is it luck though? I think it is a bit but it’s unlucky for Sterling and Zinchenko not to show up as well in the first place especially when they won 8-0 and have started every game. You have a VC if you went with KDB as VC and Sterling as captain you were pretty confident of City smashing Watford. Lundstram getting that amount of points at Everton is a bit lucky but it’s similar to those that would have started him in that fixture as well

        • It’s the perfect combination of skill and luck
