Fantasy Football Live Match Chat Gameweek 6
Welcome to Fantasy Football Live Match Chat Gameweek 6. Choo choo, all aboard the Kun train… Best hope he starts then or there will be fantasy managers throwing themselves under it at about one minute past 2pm today! Quite why a hat-trick last week indicates another one imminently we aren’t sure but let’s see what happens. It’s a bit of a strange FPL week as we actually have 8 games today (Saturday), and then just the 1 on both Sunday and Monday.
We begin with a London derby as West Ham host Spurs at lunchtime, in what has in recent past been a title decider.
3pm gets busy then with no less than 6 games on the go with the likes of Chelsea, Man City and Man United all featuring.
Saturday is rounded off with Liverpool visiting Leicester.
Sunday’s lonely game sees Brighton host Newcastle at 4pm. And sees the Toon fans getting home on Monday morning at some point, if they are lucky. Wonderful planning from the PL again!
We close the week out with Arsenal hosting West Brom at 8pm on Monday.

Banjo, you’re right, I wouldn’t be able to afford to buy either back. Which means I couldn’t do Eriksen to Miki either unless I was going to stick with him. Hmmm… Is that such a bad shout given I have Kane for spuds coverage?

Morata due to raise in price, so waiting on banking that 0.1 before making the move.

First of all, put Foster in the goal. I wont bet in favor of a clean sheet for Newcastle when all Liverpool attackers are doing well.
To be honest, Ill just ignore Lukaku for this GW and not watch the United vs Palace game.
All your 3 strikers are in form, and can do equal damage.
I think I agree with B. I have the same front 3 as you, and I really want to get Lukaku in there, just for the Palace game. My problem (and I’d imagine it’s similar for you) is that if I ditch Kun or Morata then I wont be able to afford buying them back. So the only one I can consider losing in Kane, but he could easily outscore Lukaku. I think I’m gonna hold fire, and pray that Lukaku does what historically he’s pretty good at – and blank when everyone expects.
What to do with this lot lads?

I was thinking of Jesus to Morata this week and Lukaku to Aguero next. I don’t know it that’s the right thing though with Lulaku’s huge ownership.

I’d be tempted to stick this week. Morata is unlikely to get much from the City defence.
Regarding Lukaku, if you think Aguero will outscore him I’d go for it.
Hi Milburn – I’m also a Jesus owner who now wants Morata…
The way I see it though is that now that Jesus has already burned us with being rotated/rested/peped he is now probably less likely to repeat it, which means he’ll play more often than not for the time being. So, unless we see this happening again I’m not sure I want to get rid. Morata is in fact tempting and surely more explosive than Lukaku so in your shoes I’d be looking at that move and maybe not the Jesus one. However, I wouldn’t be doing that this week given the respective fixtures. So, in other words, stick and reassess Morata/Jesus after the IB. Oh and yeah, ignore price raises for Morata. That 0.1 or even the 0.2 are not that relevant compared to a well thought move.

Mornin’ gang. Armband on ‘Arry finally paid off, happy with some green arrows. Firmino > Morata seems like the move this week and I didn’t pull the trigger before Firm dropped 0.1 and Morata due to rise 0.1 tonight. What do we think of Firmino > Morata and Hegazi > Mbemba? (leaves 0.1 itb)

Hi Colriles – I have nothing against that move (Firm-»Morata) but maybe not this week. Firmino’s two double digits scores came with Mane on the pitch and he is back now. Morata may obviously score in any game but if he’s going to blank you’d imagine it would be against City so at least wait as long as the price changes allow for.
Cheers DMC. I hear ya but also don’t want to lose 1 FT and I don’t see anything sideways that makes this week.
Didn’t see that part in all honesty. I assume Cedric-> is out of reach, so either go ahead with the Hegazi->Mbemba one or in fact lose the FT. Check Rambo tonight though.

Thanks DMC. Yeah I looked at Ramsey as the other option for downgrade but nobody in that 6.0-6.5 bracket that seems to make sense. I’ll have another think on it.

Started the season with him all drapped in captains armbands,

Enough was enough So i WC and say goodbye to Kane.
Game 4… BOOM ! he bangs in a brace..!
Game 5…Panic sets in so I Take the Free Hit chip to sort out my shocking wc team and in comes Mr Kane vs Swansea as captain…guess what, ?…..BLANK !
Of course my Free Chip expires after a week so Harry is gone….oh well he’s shit I tell myself….never again I say.
Game 6 without Harry…BOOM Another brace….FFS !

Today I decided that barring an injury or suspension I will no longer be making single transfers and will always roll one over to give players a chance! Lesson learned!!

Taking lots of hits just to keep pace, I know it’s counter productive but it makes me feel better.
What moves r u guys doing this week.?
Well I nearly rage transferred out Alonso and Firmino to Kane and Mbemba for a -4 on Saturday but constantly changing players hasn’t worked so far and I’ve taken 2 hits both of which have left me worse off!
Held my nerve and missed Firmino’s price drop so I can’t afford that move now!
Going to stick to my plan and save my FT this week, give Alonso and Firmino another go and then work with 2 FT’s after the international break and stick to that going forward….watch this space… currently £1.3m so chances of beating last years rank seem impossible but I’ll certainly not give up!!
Well I have Kane, and barring any moments of madness he’ll be my cappo this week, so if you could all leave him alone that’d be great!

Their all pretty rubbish. I have Ritchie but don’t think I’m convinced but can’t see an easy way of swapping him currently. Options seem to be at 8 million plus

I’m on the big 3 up top which means i’m stuck with Atsu (bless you) and Grob (insert your own weird symbol thing) playing every week. I don’t feel good about it, but its the only way i can get Morata, Kun and Kane.
If i wasn’t so lazy i’d look at if i’d get more value from a Firmino/Vardy and a 6.5-8M player. My guess is the non-big 3 route would yield more points.
Ramsey might emerge as a decent option soon.
Then we have Sterling, and he is bringing in the points, but faces rotation risk.

Cheers guys their just seems no value in those players between 6.5m & 8m the big top three almost certainly means two sorry three cheap MF players just not sure as I see Vardy & say Eriksen give you say more point potential than say Morata & Grob not convinced yet on top three heavy. 😉
