Fantasy Football Live Match Chat Gameweek 7

Gameweek 7 gets going with a lunch time affair. The slowly improving Hammers take on the slowly deteriorating Man United. That fixture is followed by six 3pm matches. Arsenal take on Watford, Everton tangle with Fulham, Huddersfield hands over 3 points to Spurs, City put 5 past Brighton, Toon welcome in Leicester and Wolves look to impress again vs Saints. All them fixtures are just the appetisers though, for the match of the day. The late game sees Chelsea welcome in top of the league Liverpool in what we all hope will be a back and fourth battle. Should be interesting all that attacking talent going up against each other. Salah vs Hazard, also Mane vs Hazard and if that wasn’t enough, Firmino vs Hazard.

All the fun didn’t end on Saturday. Well, actually, it did!! Cardiff vs Burnley?! Really? One game on Sunday and this is what we got?

Monday sees an end to the gameweek when Bournemouth tackle the hell out of Zaha. Lerma to get a yellow via love tap to the shin on Wilfried? No doubt!

  1. Ryder Cup is home!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

    • Yeaahh!

    • This is great news. I’m not a golf fan at all, but I always like to see Europe do well in the Ryder.

I used to go to school with Ian Poulter, so it’s doubly nice to see him contribute to the win (as he usually does) 😀

  2. Really need a Cardiff goal. Seems like half my mini league have Hart in goal

    • I have him. So I hope your wrong on this onesmile

    • That’s a big ask 😉

      • Hey Frenchie
Just noticed I’ve leap into first place Knocking you off top spot you in the “My Rules League”
My “English 3 Lions” beating your “Frenchie spoken” team.
Only wish we could beat you in the World Cup…lol 😉

        • What a score from my 3 lions this week.

        • Had no idea Obi Wan was English!

        • Hehe bigpopz I’ve just noticed that as well. Amazing score that you have this gameweek!!!

        • Dmc
          Ref Obi Wan
          Yea me neither
          Born Londoner bruv !
Had to google it to be sure tho 😉

        • Yeah Congolese descendant and apparently he played for them in a U-20 vs England who called him right after and he never looked back.

    • Oh there it is. I’m happy

    • Your wishes have been granted Master Smash.

  3. Was the Tarkowski injury a bad one?

    Causing me another headache!!!

  4. Dilva to Maddison? D’s not bringing in much points wise these days and concerned he may not play after the CL game….
    Or Dilva to who?
    Mitro or Hughes to start?
    Thanks!

    • Hi Bees. Long time, no speak. Hope you are well.

I think Dilva > Maddison is a great move. Dilva will always carry an element of rotation risk, whereas Maddison should be nailed. Maddison is returning better at the moment too, so seems a no-brainer to me. You still have Kun as City attack coverage. I say go for it 😀

Personally, I would start Mitro over Hughes every time smile

      • Thanks Mr Chips. Hope all is well with you too.
Took me a while to find this site. Nice to find most of FFF guys here. Will make the move later this week.
        All the best.

    • Looks a good move going forward.
I say you play Mitro ahead of Huges any day of the week. While Huges is very well capable of scoring you some fpl points you just ‘can’t’ leave Mitro on the bench. I mean play Huges ahead of Holebas is needed but don’t bench Mitro.

      • Thanks DMC. Will keep Mitro in.
        All the best to you.

  5. Have a nice day y’all

  6. New averages with 1 game left.

    • Very average for me then. Need Fraser to turn my week into a good one

      • Yeah counting on a goal or three from him tomorrow night under the lights of tv!

        • 2 goals from Wan-Bissaka, subbed at 85 mins at 2-0 then a Fraser hattrick to make it 3-2.

          Too much to ask?

      • Count yourself lucky to have 52 in the bag! 46 for me with a trio of cherries to go… I’m not expecting much!

        • damn. 55 here and sadly missing out on doherty’s 12. had i played him, would have helped me reduce the gap between me and the leader in my ML. lets hope for the best from fraser.

wouldn’t mind if he was missing tomorrow 😉

        • The thing with these wolves defenders and GK is that they are capable of cleanies etc away from home as much as they are at the molineux, meaning you ‘have’ to play them regardless. Well, at home to Saints at least you really do.
