Fantasy Football Live Match Chat Gameweek 9
Welcome to Fantasy Football Live Match Chat Gameweek 9. And so we go again, for about 4 weeks anyway, before the next absolutely essential international break interrupts us all once more. You can probably guess that we rather side with Jurgen Klopp and his view that ‘the Nations Cup is the most senseless competition in the world of football’. Let’s just hope that none, or at least not many, of your precious FPL assets came to any harm in their pursuit of the ‘glory’ of a few Nations Cup points this past week or so.
Back we are though and we start with a cracker as Jose goes back to The Bridge on Saturday lunchtime, an occasion which is always notable, but probably more so when he’s so under the cosh, not to mention scrutiny. Expect to see buses in their droves.
We then get stuck into a bumper 3pm selection with 6 games to feast upon. Which usually means a compromise of paucity over the rest of the weekend but more on that later! An in form (ish) Bournemouth host ‘neighbours’ and terminally out of form Southampton, Cardiff struggle on towards the inevitable as they host Mitro and co, Man City hope to strut on towards their own inevitability against whichever version of Burnley show up, Newcastle host former boss Chris Hughton and his Brighton side, West Ham prepare for the next Cup Final against Spurs and Wolves and Watford face each other in a clash of the early form setters.
Those who sold Salah and co will then be spending Saturday evening behind the couch as Liverpool visit free falling Huddersfield in the late game.
The weekend then limps to a conclusion as Sunday sees just the one game with Everton hosting Crystal Palace before we conclude with Leicester going to Arsenal on Monday.

Going to finish on 56 with Lucas subbing on for Mane. Can’t really complain after Pickford dug me out of the ditches yesterday!
Going to be a boring transfer for me this week – Lucas down to bench fodder to pave the way for Mendy in for Peltier the following week.
Great score considering the week! Sounds like a good plan, if Lucas is to become fodder you might as well roll it this week?
Yeah, I was thinking that just after I posted! haha
Lucas feels like it’s only a matter of time until he gets benched though, so maybe my £4.5m player would actually be a safer pick. Especially with Lamela in fine form. Will have to see how the next week unfolds and how Alli’s recovery is.
Mane & Sterling or Salah & Dilva?
Salah and Dilva for me out of those options, Sterling as we just witnessed isn’t nailed (although he’ll probably play the next few now, but still you never know when he’ll be on the bench again)! The problem is that we don’t know whether Dilva is nailed or not now that KDB is back… I would also entertain an idea of Mane&KDB if Mane is fit again… But it’s tough, do you have Hazard by the way?
And by the way Salah&KDB for me is the best combo… But that’s too expensive perhaps?

Mane & KdB leaves 2.2 to improve elsewhere!
Yeah, I’m kind of liking Mane & KDB with the monies, could get Mendy back in then too, or Robertson, for TAA for instance!
Thinking about dropping Aguero, getting Arnie instead and upgrading a mid to KDB..

Hazard – Mane – Richalison – KDB
Arnie – Vardy – Mitro

I’m thinking of doing something similar but probaby in a couple of weeks
pretty good 1 ch3lawy. one of my ML players got has that front 3 formation with mane and hazard at the back. he is currently 2nd so its doing him well.
Hope this Hazard injury isn’t as serious as some are speculating, no idea who’ll I’ll bring in if it’s long term, would say KDB or sterling but really want Mendy! Ahhh!!

It’s a bit of a misnomer saying he will miss the BATE match – he was never going to play in that one anyway so they have clear working time to get him fit for Burnley on Sunday. Sounds like it is only a stiff back anyway.
Just a slight back injury. Will just miss Europa game.
Hope so, seen a few articles saying it could be a few weeks out but wasn’t sure if it was speculative!
could be 2 games out at most but lets wait for the friday pressers on this one. he was my captaincy pick for the next GW. Got mane or aguero as alternatives should he miss out.

All good Erish, Reasonable week so far and should finish with 49 or 50 if no goal from Maddi. He seems to take corners and free kicks so maybe an assist should not be out of the question.

Mane out and De Bruyne in already done.I will get Mane back and may do Kun to Arnie to give me funds to do Fraser to Mane. Seeing how Perera does tonight and may do Trip to him.All ifs buts and maybes as the CL takes place this week

Is this guy Pereira from Leics an OOP as he is classed as a defender but seems to be a mid and scored last week. Leics have some good fixtures coming up too.
