Fantasy Football Live Match Chat Gameweek 9

Welcome to Fantasy Football Live Match Chat Gameweek 9. We are back from another International break and the gameweek kicks off with Toon hosting Chelsea in a lunchtime affair. That is followed by three more fixtures, all spread out of course, as is the new norm. Villa tangle with Brighton and after that we see Spurs take on City. The day comes to an end with Manchester United welcoming in West Brom.

Sunday brings us four more games. The day starts with Fulham taking on Everton. The Blades then play host to The Hammers, which is followed by Bielsa’s pupils facing off against Arteta’s boys. Those were all the appetizers though as the best fixture was left for last with Liverpool’s U12’s (or whatever they have left fit) facing off versus first place Leicester.

Monday gives us the last two fixtures. Burnley take on Palace and Wolves close out the gameweek when they encounter Saints.

The games in full…

  1. Which of these would you prefer?

    1) KdB with two 4.6 mids rotating (i.e. one playing)
    2) Grealish & Jota with spare change to invest elsewhere, but zero city cover.

    • 2. I don’t like that 4.6mln midfielder each week. That trumps the rest for me.

      • Cheers GP. It does look quite unbalanced with KdB. Interestingly, option one would leave the funds for Fernandes to KdB if he became essential. Zaha has really thrown the cat amongst the pigeons for me!!!

    • I’d be tempted to go with 1 for now. It’s not a long term solution but could pay off with the easy City fixtures. I mean 2 is better long term

      • I am very tempted! It requires more hits as well though, so I’ll probably go sensible. It is deeply unnerving having zero city though.

  2. Guys, my heads spinning…

Thought i was set up alright but now:

    Saiss has COVID
    Zaha has COVID
    Lamptey suspended
    Mitchell doesn’t play
    Burke doesn’t play
    Wilson still injured

    Wildcard already used…

    1FT…

  3. Back to back clean sheets for Burnley. They’re back!!

    • Yeah Tarks and Mee at the back and they are all good again

      • Have Taylor, hes 3rd on my bench for his next match lol

  4. Is Zaha worth keeping, I know he will mist a coupe of games, but he doesn’t seem to do anything when he is on the pitch, how he is so high up in the mid’s table I don’t know.

  5. McCarthy already got a saves point after 10 minutes :big-lol:

  6. I just watched a video of (supposedly) grown up people chasing an 8-pound cheese down a hill in Gloucestershire, Cooper’s hill specifically. My lord, what have I just watched.

Looks absolutely mental – can someone please explain this phenomenon to me?
