And after all that, here we are again at GW1. Arsenal and Coventry kick the season off on Friday night at 8pm.
Hull v Man Utd is the 1st Saturday lunchtime game at 12.30pm.
We then have three games at 3pm which sees Everton at home to Palace, Ipswich hosting Sunderland and Leeds going to Forest.
Brentford and Spurs finish the day off at 5.30pm.
Sunday has two games at 2pm; Brighton v Villa and Man City v Bournemouth.
It’s then Newcastle v Liverpool at 4.30pm.
Fulham and Chelsea have to wait until Monday to conclude GW1.

Does anyone else find the site’s FDR ratings off? For example Arsenal face Villa next week and it’s rated a 4. I suppose that is true for Villa but shouldn’t it be a 3 for Arsenal? I don’t feel Villa is in the same class as Arsenal right now. Am I missing something on all that?

It is rated 4 because it is an Away game, the home game vs Villa in GW 32 is rated as 3. Arsenal have had difficulties beating Villa away.

Yeah – take it with a grain of salt. But isn’t there a way you can personalise it? Or maybe I’m dreaming (which is quite possible)!

Didn’t arsenal lose the title 2 yrs ago mainly bcoz they lost to aston villa home and away? Plus they are a top 5 team last season, Europa league winners, so think 4 is correct.

I know when Leicester won the Premier League, Arsenal were the only team that beat them both games and the manager said they had done their bit to try and stop Leicester from winning the title.

tbh I don’t take that much notice of the game ratings, they never update them anyway if a team starts playing really well, we all know that playing against Arsenal for example is going to be tough home or away and Hull (no offence) will be easy, but if Hull became a fortress as home the fpl wouldn’t change the rating so they are a deemed a tougher fixture.
