Fantasy Football Live Match Chat Silly Gameweek 26

Welcome to Fantasy Football Live Match Chat Silly Gameweek 26. Only in England could we have a ‘Winter Break’ in which all teams still play and yet is punctuated (somewhat) with FA Cup replays for four of them. We say good on Klopp for showing them the finger and highlighting the absurdity of it all. Politics aside, GW26 will be held over two weekends, beginning today on the 8th Feb and concluding a week on Monday, the 17th.

There’s an unequal split too, with four games this weekend and six on the next. It makes for an uncertain and very long GW but it is what it is. To make it even more odd we don’t have a single 3pm Saturday game on either weekend. Why? TV, that’s why. They’ve seen the opportunity and taken it; every single game is now scheduled in a TV slot.

We shall stop ranting though and let you crack on with enjoying the longest of long GW’s…

The games in full…

  1. I sold Lundstram and he scored. Typical :laugh2:

  2. Least Lundy will come on for one of my 2 City players. Small mercies.

  3. Praise the lord

    • A parting shot.

      • hehe probably

        • The chuckles would have been even more hysterical if he’d had a CS this week as well. But anyhow, well done those who persisted (I gave up on him this week).

        • Yep, sold for Boly, and he started on the bench yet again as anticipated, hence selling him was the correct move… He had gone 14 games without scoring before this too…

        • Yes always best not to look back once a player has gone, though there may be one or two in-denial transfers of him back in tonight.

        • Totally useless to get him back in now, he will still be on the bench and might go on for another 14 GWs without scoring

        • Yes of course, but 4.5k have brought him in / back already.

I’ve tuned Sheffield United out of my thinking for the time being, fantasy wise.

  4. Kept the Lord for another week and he’s come up trumps first on my bench. Not sure what he has done wrong to lose his place to be honest apart from a couple of tired performances over Christmas.

  5. Having lundstram first on my bench softens the blow of kdb not playing

  6. 3 players = 3 points. Off to a killer start! Who’s with me?! :sarcastic_hand:
