Who are you? Who are you? Fantasy manager profiles Part 13

Here at FF247 towers we’ve often wondered what driving forces hide behind a comment or a rate my team reply, do we really know the mindset and the persona of the people we are conversing with?! To find the answers to these questions we have lured some regulars from out of their caves and got them to endure a simple Q&A session.
Hopefully this will help us to uncover whether each member can be viewed as a ‘fellow sports enthusiast’, ‘colleague’, ‘fantasy friend’, ‘internet troll’ or indeed ‘sociopath’! Let’s take a look inside the minds of our latest two ‘victims’ then and see whether, hiding behind the cute monkey gravatars, lurks a sadistic, megalomaniacal, psychotic keyboard warrior. Or just a normal guy or gal who likes to play fantasy football…
We will add a disclaimer here – we have resolved to not edit what is sent in at all. What you see is what you (we) get. FPL ranks were correct at the time of sending as well so may be much worse by now! Or better…
Next up to the examination table are Chopper2540 and Kop Warrior.

Tell us about yourself in less than 50 words: Passionate sports fan. I’m extremely laid back, some would say horizontal! I’ve got quite a dark sense of humour although some might just say I’m a grumpy old man!

FAVOURITES
Food: Tapas
Drink: IPAs or a good red wine, preferably a Malbec or Rioja
Band/Type of music: Anything with a modern folky vibe to it, two of my particular favourites would be Fleet Foxes and Bon Iver. Del: We had Denzil in goal, we had Monkey-Harris left back, we had… camaraderie. Trigger: Was that the Italian boy?

Country visited (and state why!): Canada. I spent 5 nights camping in the Canadian wilderness a number of years ago with two mates. We had plenty of beer but little else!

Sporting moment on TV: 2005 Champions League final
Sporting moment witnessed live: 2011 Heineken Cup final. Leinster were down 22-6 at half-time and came back to win 33-22. I’m not even a Leinster fan but it was an amazing comeback and a great weekend in Cardiff.

I’m very jealous Silver smile I’ve seen the likes of Kevorkian, Krivitt, Manuso & Siano a number of times, but it’s not the same as seeing them on their own patch!

      • Silverback says:

Stop it Silver, you really are making me jealous now. I’m a big music fan myself and love discovering new music although that has taken a back seat since out little one arrived. I was on a stag in Berlin last year and I rolled back the years. Don’t get to live gigs like I used to but I’ve a ticket for Fleetwood Mac later in the year and I can’t wait.

        • Silverback says:

    AT says:

    Love it!

Don’t suppose I could have people’s opinions on:
    1. Bellerin
    2. Cameron

For a WC team. Too risky? Why didn’t Cameron start/is he likely to resume first 11 duties next GW?

      inittowinit says:

AT I’m pretty sure Bellerin starts this week after that clean sheet at City.

I think Cameron was just dropped with Bardsley being back and them having conceded 3 at Arsenal. He wasn’t injured as he came on late on for Moses. Likewise though you’d expect Stoke would stick with the same back line on the back of a clean sheet.

      The B says:

Bellerin could start but Chambers will always threaten his place. He has played the entire season and was dropped I guess because of a minor illness which forced him to the bench.

So yes, huge uncertainty over Bellerin, but worth a short at that price. Not sure about Cameron at all.

    NIN says:

Haha, great stuff lads. Thanks Peaky, Chopper and Kop

Tried making a WC draft and came up with this crap. Wow.

Having both Aguero and Costa is tough.

      Silverback says:

This is a good team The B I do thk Ivan is a bit over kill Terry or Cahill would cover Che & spare you some extra cash also Siggy getting a lot of bad press I thk Swa are going to struggle without Bony unless he brings someone in ,also Siggy / Boyde & Johnson don’t rotate to good maybe look @ JWP , Mane when he is back or just go Ivan > Cahill Siggy > Sterling Lpool showing some form & with Sturridge back soon could be worth a punt

    • 6.2
      RedVT says:

Hey B, nice looking draft. You might consider saving some money by grabbing Baird instead of Wisdom and Terry instead of Ivan. And if you decided not to rotate your keepers and went with just the Sunderland keepers or the WBA keepers and PvA instead of a WBA defender, you could save even more. Would that allow you to upgrade Siggy to Cazorla/Sterling/Eriksen?
