Who are you? Who are you? Fantasy manager profiles Part 14

Here at FF247 towers we’ve often wondered what driving forces hide behind a comment or a rate my team reply, do we really know the mindset and the persona of the people we are conversing with?! To find the answers to these questions we have lured some regulars from out of their caves and got them to endure a simple Q&A session.
Hopefully this will help us to uncover whether each member can be viewed as a ‘fellow sports enthusiast’, ‘colleague’, ‘fantasy friend’, ‘internet troll’ or indeed ‘sociopath’! Let’s take a look inside the minds of our latest two ‘victims’ then and see whether, hiding behind the cute monkey gravatars, lurks a sadistic, megalomaniacal, psychotic keyboard warrior. Or just a normal guy or gal who likes to play fantasy football…
We will add a disclaimer here – we have resolved to not edit what is sent in at all. What you see is what you (we) get. FPL ranks were correct at the time of sending as well so may be much worse by now! Or better…
Next up to the examination table are peakydave himself and Peter Pan.

    Thanks fellas, good stuff!

Hello world!! Mito is back…not sure I can say hello world if I am not new here though, hmmm.

    Hello Losers!!

    Eagle says:

Hello my fellow fantasy football managers. Can u all please take some time out to look at my team and tell me whether to activate the WC or not (i have both). Losing a lot of ground recently, as my rivals are not too far away with only a 23 point lead. Should i only do 1 transfer and leave the WC for the other GW? any thoughts?

      The B says:

Team looks great. Id do Hutton>Mert/Kosc. You could also do Downing>AJ/Punch, but Downing is on form and you could lose there.

The rest seems fine for now. WC not necessary or urgent for this GW.

      • Eagle says:

Thanks for your input The B. Yeah i was thinking to hold fire on the WC for now. Was also thinking to do Siggy to Cazorla maybe? but if i do that i would not go to an Arsenal defender. Got a lot of value tied in to Siggy (Purchase Price 6.1) and Downing (PP 5.6) but both have been loyal soldiers. In my WC i want to bet Baird, PVA or maybe a cheap stoke defender. My main rival has Rooney while i have Aguero.

    Colriles says:

Lovin these! Thanks peakydave and PPan…. not sure I want to see Jesus and Michael Jackson in the same room together… 😮

Planning on holding my WC one more week so would love some ideas on how to best use my 1 FT this week? 5.5m burning a hole…

    Krul – Guzan
    Terry, Clyne, OShea, Shackell, Wasil
    Haz, Sanchez, Downing, Siggy, Barton
    Costa, Kane, Ings

      inittowinit says:

Hi Colriles, how about Giroud this week? Or a similar midfield change as to the one above that Eagle and B are discussing.

    • 5.2
      The B says:

You have a dream team there for this GW. laugh

Tough one to choose where to use FT, but Downing/Siggy/Barton > Caz could be a good move given his form and penalties.

    • 5.3
      Pancho says:

I like the B’s thoughts on a midfield switch. If not to Cazorla then maybe ADM? He could break out against Leister at home! Giroud not a bad shout up front for Ings. You could even get to Rooney if you wanted to go that route.

And I disagree: I thin Jesus and Michael Jackson in the same room would be awesome! Just imagine all those Zombies from Thriller being raised from the undead! smile

      Colriles says:

Cheers all. Had pondered most of those moves already, just can’t seem to decide on one! How about ARS defense cover for the week? Shackell > Mert or Guzan > Ospina (if we think he’ll keep his place)??

Pancho – hadn’t considered Jacko would bring his whole crew with him… then he’d have Bubbles (where’s Raz?) and LIsa Marie in tow…. already given this way too much thought.
