Fantasy Premier League 2015-16 Pre-Season Round up

Hello. Happy Summer everyone and welcome to your Pre-Season Article. The article is intended as a ‘work-in-progress’ and a workspace where we can keep each other up to date with all the latest line-up and substitution news for all twenty of this season’s Premier League teams ahead of our final selection of our fantasy squads.
We should also record the scoreline particulars including the all-important scorers, assisters and ‘nearly men’. Any salient information such as a defender on penalty kicks duties, a midfielder playing striker or Asmir Begovic playing some part in a Chelsea match to let him think he has a chance of playing this season, can be found here.
Of course, if you are lucky enough to witness any of the action, your opinion is valued too so let us know who impresses and doesn’t impress during these games.
Now you may have noticed the cunning use of “your”, “we”, and “each other” above. This is not a one-man band, because I’m useless musically and I’m not on at all hours (as much as I would like to be), so please do get involved – get the line-ups ‘up’ and the opinions flowing.

Evening All, thanks to GP for ploughing through each team’s preseason fixtures – it’s hugely appreciated sir.
Now folks it’s up to you guys to keep it flowing – add what you see in the comments section – line ups, scorers, great performances and shockers – anything you deem relevant!
Cookie could I get a link to the goalie pair chart thing please?
And jeez wouldn’t like to have to work through all them fixtures
Hi Hazardo, it’s with the Fixtures Trackers. Should be here mate –
https://fantasyfootball247.co.uk/fixture-tracker/
Thank you
Hazardo
You’ll find it in the TIPS tab above ^^ under FIXTURE TRACKER.
Mito kindly put it up there for us earlier today. You’ll find all sorts of information on fixtures and team rotation including the goalkeeper one.
Nice barca-United game does anyone think we’ll see full squads? Or even close?
The game will be on MUTV next Saturday but we’ll have full line-ups including scoring information.
Thanks mate
Which combo is better?
1) Rooney, Yaya, Ozil, Henderson
Or
2) Kane, sterling, Walcott, Milner
Or
3) Benteke, Silva, Walcott, Chadli
1 or 3 not 2 imo
Hi FDMS, does Rooney, Sterling, Wally and Hendo work? That’d be me preferred combo from the players there.
Those are all good combos. Probably 3 for me, but only just and pre-season could have me leaning differently.
Yeah I meant to add the same. 3 for me if it has to be one of those.
I’d go for 3 mate.
1 for me at this stage, but Milner instead of Henderson.
Thanks GP!
I will repost this here since it will feel more at home on this article.
Watched a fair portion of the United game last night. Looks like they lined up in a 4-2-3-1 to me. Maybe that is not what LVG would call it, but it certainly looked that way.
Johnstone
Darmian Jones Blind Shaw
Carrick Schneiderlin
Mata Depay Young
Roon
From a fantasy perspective, Young was still taking corners, I saw Mata and Young stand over Indirect free kicks with Mata taking it. Blind at CB looked out of position. He committed a penalty on a slide tackle that wasn’t called. It was an obvious pen and he knew it. Schneirderlin looked solid and scored the only goal on a header from a cross from Mata. Depay was tucked in behind Rooney. Had one real nice one touch pass to set up Rooney for a shot, but other than that was a bit quiet in his debut. Rooney didn’t get many chances at all as there wasn’t really much getting to him with the exception of the Depay pass. I can also see where some people say that Depay is a bit selfish. As he took a left footed shot from outside the box when a simple pass would have left Young in one on one. Maybe he didn’t see him, but if that’s the case that means he is not looking in certain situations, which in fantasy is not necessarily a bad thing. I like my FPL players selfish. Damian looked like what one would expect, solid. Shaw got up and down the left flank.
In the second half they changed everyone out for the second 45. Pereira the young Brazilian looked real lively, hope they give him some minutes or put him out on loan where he can because he looked promising. Herrera may give LVG a selection headache because he looks good. Bastian was like Darmian, exactly what you would expect, solid. Januzaj could have scored but his finishing was a bit off. Well that’s enough from me.
Brilliant Mito.
Great start

Good to be back!
Hazardo
A few issues here for me.
Mangala isn’t for me worth the money and could be challenged by Denayer this season, even Demichellis had him out the team last season.
Baker – I’m unsure he will be a regular and even so, I’m not sure how steady Villa will be this season as they have lost or about to lose three huge players in Vlaar, Delph and Benteke.
Morgan – well documented but he has played all summer long with Jamaica and may be too tired or tire early and Leicester have a new manager as well who may change the defence. Try a Norwich defender maybe? Olsson, Martin or Whittaker.
I wouldn’t have both Schweinsteiger and Schneiderlin – in fact, neither probably as you have the main man in Rooney anyway. I’d use the combined funds of those two plus Mirallas to get yourself some City cover – Silva Sterling or Yaya.
From what I’ve read by Norwich writers, I’m sure Hooper will either be moving on or will be on the bench so I’d look to change him. Grabban even would be a better choice I think.
