Fantasy Premier League 2015-16 Pre-Season Round up

Hello. Happy Summer everyone and welcome to your Pre-Season Article. The article is intended as a ‘work-in-progress’ and a workspace where we can keep each other up to date with all the latest line-up and substitution news for all twenty of this season’s Premier League teams ahead of our final selection of our fantasy squads.
We should also record the scoreline particulars including the all-important scorers, assisters and ‘nearly men’. Any salient information such as a defender on penalty kicks duties, a midfielder playing striker or Asmir Begovic playing some part in a Chelsea match to let him think he has a chance of playing this season, can be found here.
Of course, if you are lucky enough to witness any of the action, your opinion is valued too so let us know who impresses and doesn’t impress during these games.
Now you may have noticed the cunning use of “your”, “we”, and “each other” above. This is not a one-man band, because I’m useless musically and I’m not on at all hours (as much as I would like to be), so please do get involved – get the line-ups ‘up’ and the opinions flowing.

Whats people thoughts on this??.
Not sure I’d trust Richards to be the starter over Hutton just yet mate.
How does this team look?
I’m not keen on having 2 budget forwards to start with as it’ll cause havoc with your team upgrading one if needs be even though it looks like your setup for a 3-5-2 formation.
*WEST BROMWICH ALBION*
Richmond Kickers 1-2 West Browmich Albion
Scorers
James McClean – Unassisted
Brown Ideye
Assisted by Stephane Sessegnon
Myhill (Rose 75’)
O’Neil (Fitzwater 69’) McAuley (Donnellan 74’) Olsson Brunt (Gardner 51’),
McClean (Pocognoli 74’) Fletcher (Morrison 51’) Yacob McManaman (Sessegnon 51’)
Berahino (Ideye 51’) Anichebe (Nabi 75’)
good stuff GP. Thanks for that. Liverpool playing in my home city tonight!
Morning Tom 😉
Yeah Adelaide later ‘this morning’.
No chance of you making the match then?
haha, it’s at 7pm tonight I believe.
No chance of me going unfortunately. Tickets were snapped up within a few hours
7pm Adelaide time that is
That’s a shame Tom. Never mind. I assume it’s on TV over there?
We have it on LFC TV in the UK. We used to get that free-to-air but not you have to subscribe so this will be the first pre-season in many a season where I din’t see Liverpool closely.
I’ll follow on twitter later whilst I’m out and about.
Morning all – how’s that planning coming along? Hope everyone had a good weekend.
Morning Cookie,
Planning still ongoing, i think it would help if i could see any of the pre-season games but with golf, davis cup tennis and cricket taking up the weekend, football isn’t getting much of a look in.
hows your team coming along?
Hey Photek, yeah agreed too much else going on at the mo – looking forward to this afternoon’s last day of The Open – who’s your money on?
Morning photek how’s your team coming along bit tough this yr my concerns are J Rod starting , Kun for the 1st few GW & if Wally starts I would rather him than Caz I have also been looking @ Ighalo he has been playing well pre season 😉
Cooks, i think Speith is poised in a great spot and has the obvious form on his side, it would be great if the young amatuer wins, his played so well to get up there but the poor sod wouldn’t win any money if he did.
Yeah Photek, It’s difficult to look beyond Spieth, given his form in the majors this season. Oosthuizen will fancy his chances though.
Pretty remarkable there are 2 amateurs in the top 10!!
Yeah that’s great going from the amatuers.
I think the highlight for me already was seeing Tom Watson play the 18th for the last time in the Open, a true gent and a worthy champion.
I’ve got the same concerns Silver as i’ve got J Rod and Kun in my current draft. I can’t see Kun not playing in gw2 against Chelsea tho.
My team is still a work in progress, i’m not settled on alot of players and keep changing them, im hoping some pre-season form might point me in the right direction.
How was the racing mate? did you bag a few winners?
photek had a really good wknd 5 winners on the day so was made up got a tip of one of owners on Dystania Revenge 18-1 £5 win great stuff nk meeting I’m going is Ladies Day @ Chester in Aug can’t wait
That’s great stuff Silver! I wish you give me you’re 18-1 tip, i could’ve done with a couple of winners.
I had a few win doubles bets but had 3 2nd’s fall in….can’t win them all i suppose.
Morning Cookie
Busy family weekend mate. Got the little man being looked after today and taking my little girl off to Ayr Races for the family day. Weather isn’t so good but good to do something with just her. Spent the last hour looking at today’s racecard so I’m taking it seriously. Hope to have a good time but also a winner or two 😉
Yourself?
Hahaha – good luck with that GP. Your hours trawling through the racecard will be wasted as you spend your time hanging around the bouncy castle!!!!
Enjoy though mate, beats work – whic, come to think ot it, begs the question – why aren’t you at work?!!!
Sat at my desk, pretty quiet start, golf on this afternoon – hoping for a play off which will make the evening go faster and give me something to watch!!
Monday is my day off. Work flexible hours. Longer Tuesday-Friday to get Monday’s off for childcare. Just until school age probably but suits us to the ground just now.
I’ve got money in my betting account on my phone in case I miss the betting ring don’t worry 😉
Ah good planning there GP!!
Mondays off defo works – hope the weather is good fro you today and the rain holds off.
Thanks Cookie
Enjoy work 😉
Thanks GP, means a lot 😉
I thought an Open Playoff was the next day over 18holes but now I remember that Frenchman loosing in a playoff at Carnoustie and that was over 4 holes gross total score. Anyway I hope you get your wish
GP – So, you’ll be looking after the little one, backing horses AND staying on top of preseason on here? Are you an octopus by any chance? 😉 :hippo:
NiN
You guys can manage on your own for an hour 😉
If it helps I can do the report on the Liverpool game?
MattX
I may be around for that before I set off.
But feel free pal.
Well I can give it a few minutes after the game if you want just thought I’d help out.
Morning Cookie. Just itching for the season to kick off now really and see what happens in the transfer market. I reckon i’ve gone as far as i can, just need more info to start refining a team. How’s your lot coming along?
Morning NIN, I’ll be honest I haven’t even logged in to FPL for over a week – too much still to decide and check on, mainly see how the pre-season goes for United, City and Arsenal…much can still happen. I’m loving Yaya at 8.5, I think he is a steal at that price.
Thinking Milner is the man to have from Liverpool. The Arsenal midfield remains a minefield. Not sure what team Koeman will put out for Europa – that could take away from the lure of Mane or J Rod.
So we’ll see how the next fortnight or so shapes up.
Do you fancy Yaya to find his form again? I’m not so sure so haven’t put much thought into him yet. I agree with with the rest, though. Yeah, i agree with the rest there, Milner could well be one of the better bargains this season. Hoping United can get the summers business done with this week. Pedro and Otamendi would be the cherry on the cake .
Good thing about Southampton is that we will get to see their team sheet a couple of days before GW1. Glad their first Europa games are right before GW1.
NiN
I’m like you, I’ve completely dismissed Yaya so far due to his last season. I’m sure Aguero is enough and if I was having another, I’d get Silva I think.
Agreed, GP. Silva for me too, or Sterling even.
Yaya is a beast when fit and happy, so defo one to keep an eye on. Big difference in price between he and Silva, so will be tracking Yaya cloesly.
Yep Mito, just been looking at those Europa dates – could well be a late, late team decision for GW1.
Think this is a good draft of players at the moment but I’m thinking of Yaya instead of Eriksen but thnking that is to much Man City coverage. Thoughts in this team.
Morning Harry if you go with Butland I would put Speroni they rotate better Def not sure Tylor will start & Liverpools Def stats aren’t great but Clyne obviously you have him for his attaching potential MF looks good I wouldn’t start with Berahino hard fixtures to start plenty of other options not a bad team
harry
Like the Atsu pick – he could well be flying right under the radar !
Morning all looks like I’ve a bit of reading to do great wknd @ Cartmel need to really start looking @ team now
Silvers
Pleased to hear mate! I’m off to Ayr today in search of a wee winner 😉
Cheers GP & good luck to you today how’s your team coming on
Silvers
This so far mate . . .
I like this team GP , GK rotate well def pretty solid MF strong I’ve been toying with the idea of Payet myself but have Sakho in there at present , Cabaye will score points even in tough fixture don’t know much about Surman but he his your 5th MF player I also thk if J Rods fit for start of season you should start with him Of Ben the Pool first 5 fixtures , they have 3 hard games but who knows this is a good team 😉
