Fantasy Premier League 2015-16 Pre-Season Round up

[/three_fourth]
Hello. Happy Summer everyone and welcome to your Pre-Season Article. The article is intended as a ‘work-in-progress’ and a workspace where we can keep each other up to date with all the latest line-up and substitution news for all twenty of this season’s Premier League teams ahead of our final selection of our fantasy squads.
We should also record the scoreline particulars including the all-important scorers, assisters and ‘nearly men’. Any salient information such as a defender on penalty kicks duties, a midfielder playing striker or Asmir Begovic playing some part in a Chelsea match to let him think he has a chance of playing this season, can be found here.
Of course, if you are lucky enough to witness any of the action, your opinion is valued too so let us know who impresses and doesn’t impress during these games.
Now you may have noticed the cunning use of “your”, “we”, and “each other” above. This is not a one-man band, because I’m useless musically and I’m not on at all hours (as much as I would like to be), so please do get involved – get the line-ups ‘up’ and the opinions flowing.

Being taken to penalties by a Maltese team.. Pathetic. They’re in big trouble this year, for me.
Kop Warrior
Agreed. I’ve got Sakho in my current draft, but that may need to change!
NIN
Yep, get rid before he infects the rest of your squad! Seriously though, check out Bilic’s managerial record, it’s woeful. He’s gone by March, no doubt about it.
inittowinit
NIN, did he do something to you in a past life?! I’ve never seen you so passionate about anyone and so convinced they will fail! To be fair you’ve said it ever since about an hour after the appointment! I disagreed then and I’ll respectfully disagree now. I reckon they’ll be top 10 easily. If not then it’ll be fun regardless because he’s a personality if nothing else. Really like the guy and hope he succeeds. And then replaces Martinez. Preferably by September
NIN
It just boggles the mind mate. I cant for the life of me understand why Sam gets sacked and replaced by Bilic. The fans may be blowing bubbles, but Gold is blowing smoke up their arses.
Raziel
Seriously, smell is the last card I would expect you to use. Apart from the cat litter they don’t stink. And well, dogs have a terrible body odor. Seriously, I don’t know what type of dog you have but all houses I ever visited that had a dog ,had some smelly rug full of Dogg droolings.
Terrible argument.
NIN
Christ almighty, i make a joke about a fucking cat and you’re losing your shit. Thankfully i didn’t air my opinions on monkeys.
Raziel
Pissing around like you, chill. The keyboard is annoying the shit out of me though. Must fix it or maybe just throw my nexus7 out of the window.
The Gallant Pioneer (@mitchellcraig81)
NiN
Its early yet and in fairness to them they had no Jenkinson, Ogbonna, Payet or Sakho (suspension) and Tomkins was sent off midway through the first half. I wouldn’t cast them out just yet.
NIN
What about the other 10 (Zarate gets excluded, for obvious reasons) Premier League quality players on the pitch? They should be walking past this opposition, early or not. For me, there’s no excuse for dribbling past this lot at home via a 90th minute goal from a CB, then being dragged to penalties by them.
inittowinit
Jeez NIN, calm down! 😉
Mito21 @TheLegendMito21
I am glad he didn’t watch CFC yesterday playing a bunch of bad 16 year olds. Otherwise he be chastising anyone who had CFC players on their FPL team. 😉
Kop Warrior
Did Slaven Bilic shoot your dog or something equally horrible?
Mito21 @TheLegendMito21
Oh my gawd!! Sorry, NiN, I didn’t know. Poor dog
NIN
My trusty pooch is in good health
I hope Slaven never gets anywhere near her either, she’d instantly get relegated to a cat :hippo:
Raziel
STFU NIN! Cats are superior to dogs. Thus an upgrade. Man, a dog can’t even survive in the wild anymore, that’s how domestic we made them.
The Gallant Pioneer (@mitchellcraig81)
Uh-Oh
NIN

inittowinit
Raz I’m I’m the cat camp with you. Slightly biased as I’m actually allergic to dog hair but even so they’re self sufficient and don’t –
– make the house smell of dirty dogs
– need walking constantly
– therefore not necessitating picking up dog poo every few steps
Cats win, end of. Unnecessary but true fact – Bilic has 24 cats
Calvin Clyne
Cats don’t do anything http://imgur.com/gallery/JsdG0O7
NIN
And litter trays don’t stink? :shake:
elleffcee (ex champ with a potty prize)
Init, your not actually allergic to dog hair, its something to do with the dogs skin. I’ll find out exactly what it is tomorrow morning when the Mrs gets up, i ain’t waking her now at all. :shake:
inittowinit
Elle, last time I checked, your Mrs wasn’t my Dr. I’m allergic to dog hair. Not dog skin. Dog hair. Trust me. I’m allergic to dog hair.
Calvin Clyne
Hang on now Init, Elle’s on the case! Love it.
inittowinit
NIN, nobody with a cat and sense has a litter tray. They’re for when they are kittens or when you are on a short holiday. Any cat out of nappies doesn’t use a litter tray. I’ve not seen a cat poo for 10 years. They go do it someone else’s garden and bury it.
NIN
This thread has come a long way, hasn’t it? Hahaha.
Raziel
Here, just pulling ya leg mate. In all honesty both animals have pros and cons.
As for the Clyne post. Cats don’t do silly tricks for humans. Dogs are very submissive, cats do what the f they want. Most dog owners would make awesome Muslims for that reason. :p
NIN
Fair enough, good point. They still smell though.
Raziel
Post from there should be here. Warp it.
Raziel
Dogs are pack animals who hunt by wearing their prey down with chasing it, a dogs odor is a way it forges pack bonds and assists recognition (look, we’re all covered in each others feces and we all smell the same, we must be friends). Cats are ambush predators who hunt by sneaking up on their prey and jumping out on them, as a result cats have evolved to be fastidiously clean and minimize their odor as much as possible so as to not give away their presence.
Raziel
Ack. This shit makes me sound like a dog hater. Not the case, all animals are cool, not all owners are through. 😉
The smell thing was just a terrible example since cats really don’t smel.
Now enough of this, freaking tablet has chosen the wrong keyboard, can’t type like this.
Mito21 @TheLegendMito21
Where my dogs at?
Calvin Clyne
Woof? Pretty gutted as just seen this. Was hoping they’d have rejoined by now, it’s been a few weeks.
Bryan Munich [@bry_cooper]
Oh here it is.
The Gallant Pioneer (@mitchellcraig81)
Morning
Which two rotating 4.5M keepers?
Also, should I get a dog or a cat?
Kop Warrior
Morning GP
You can rotate keepers?!!!!
Bryan Munich [@bry_cooper]
Rival teams usually get rotated Home and Away in perfect tandem, so on that basis can you not have a dog and a cat as your rotating keepers?
Kop Warrior
I don’t like cats! Can I rotate two dogs instead?
Bryan Munich [@bry_cooper]
They’d both be at home at the same time, mate. If anything, you’d be better off having two cats. You don’t need much room to swing a cat, so rotating two shouldn’t be to demanding.
Calvin Clyne
Barking up the wrong tree there Kop.
Kop Warrior
This is all very confusing. I might just get a goldfish!
Calvin Clyne
Then the goldfish be like “let meowt of this fishbowl”
PeterPan
who let the dogs out?
The Gallant Pioneer (@mitchellcraig81)
Very helpful guys, thanks.
Knew if I came here I’d get the answers I needed.
Feline a lot better now 😉

Brilliant. No mess to clean up !

Morning all,
How’s my draft team looking?
Collie
German shepherd, leonberger, mastif
Jack Russell, poodle, terrier, pit bull,
Doberman, Rottweiler, English sheepdog
Subs; shitzu, Dalmatian, Labrador,
Cheers
PeterPan
Hammers how much left in the bank for clean up?
The Gallant Pioneer (@mitchellcraig81)
Get that entered into woofBet hammers.
hammers
Lol. Too much wit for a Friday morning
Bryan Munich [@bry_cooper]
Having the pit bull in midfield is a good choice because he’ll get BPS for dribbling.
I also like the poodle’s chances of getting goals now that he’s playing in the false K-9 position.
hammers
Yeah like the pit bull there. Gives the midfield a bit of bite.
Hoof Hearted
Not sure if Charlie Adam will do well this season.
migs
Morning All,
Please RMT below, been working on it for AGES now!!!!
The Gallant Pioneer (@mitchellcraig81)
Haha
This how you lined up this time last year Migs?
migs
Hello GP!
but I remember I did have Bojan!! This was mid time during the season
no unfortunately couldn’t find one from then
The Gallant Pioneer (@mitchellcraig81)
Florin Gardos has picked up an injury last night ruling him out for up to 7 months. If Southampton don’t sign another centre back before the start of the season, but something tells me they will, then Maya Yoshida at 4.5 looks to be a starter with Fonte.
I’d imagine Cedric and Bertrand as full backs with Targett covering Bertrand if necessary.
