Fantasy World Cup Live Match Chat Day 4

Oh yeah baby, Sunday’s don’t get any better than this. Not only is it the last day of the US Open golf, but it’s also the Lord’s Test match. Oh and we have some T20 action to enjoy. And……wait for it…..four, yes four World Cup games! Get in there.

Our day starts early, at 2am at Yaya’s Ivory Coast take on Kagawa’s Japan. Then you sleep and tell your partner to wake you up around midday. Go enjoy a lovely Sunday lunch and be ready for 5pm at the Swiss take on Ecuador….obviously not that exciting a game, but it’s just the build up to the evening. 8pm sees France take on Honduras and many of you will be looking to the likes of Benzema or Cabaye to produce a decent point’s tally for your side.

If you’re still awake – and you should be, you slept all morning, its the Argies – Messi, Aguero, Higuain, di Maria et al taking on the Bosnians. Get through this game still awake and you’d have had one hell of a 24hrs!

Sit back, relax and enjoy the action right here at FF247 Live Match Chat, an interactive chat which encourages you to keep involved and share your thoughts and emotions as the matches take place.

Thanks for reading Fantasy World Cup Live Match Chat Day 4 – Good luck everyone!

Ok we’re getting to the bottom of all these rules now I think, but one thing I haven’t seen come up yet is whether or not we can transfer out a player while he is in the middle of his game. Anybody tried it?

Disappointing game again fantasy wise, nothing for Shaqiri I don’t think or Van Bergen in the Mcdonalds one.

What a fantastic counterattack and finish for the Swiss at the end there! This has been a superb tournament so far, already better than the last one

came across another stupid thing in the McDonalds game:
when i changed my formation form 4-4-2 to 5-3-2, it automatically took out one of my mids even though i had taken out one already and there was an extra spot.
you cant even directly take out a mid to get in someone from another position, formation has to be changed first and i am now scared that if i do it again, they might take out someone who has already scored hefty points.

hi jasprit. I just successfully changed from a 3-4-3 to a 4-3-3. Take out the midfielder you don’t mind losing (ideally someone who hasn’t played, but for me it was Iniesta (3 points)). Then change the formation. The formation change then gave me a space to fill in my defence and all else was unchanged… But maybe it’s just inconsistent between us all? It’s a shoddily put together site.

      Jasprit..

      Yea I noticed that earlier….
Subbed Iniesta to bring in Evra ..
Changed formation from 3-4-3 to 4-3-3 to accommodate Evra ..
Not only did Iniesta get subbed but it also took out my furthest player to the right (as you look at it)..
Luckily he’d not played yet, so replaced him back, with no loss…..however it could have gone tits up if he’d already played & got points…..
Maybe it knew he’d not played & was just giving me additional options to tinker with new midfield formation / unplayed players..?
