Thanks so much for your time and effort in running these comps. They’ve really added a new dimension to this world cup and i’ve really enjoyed the banter and generally being part of it.
Can’t wait for the FPL to start now so i can start my quest to win Banterbury qualifying league 6G south, reserves.
haha Chins not long to wait !! don’t forget those in qualifying leagues , this year will be involved in the Banterbury FA Cup with potty doing live draws , and also a chance to qualify for the shield ( our version of the champions league ) so lots to play for !!!

Thanks NIN, yeah captain and Muller over Klose was pretty much it. I looked in the 18th min of extra time and we were both on 89 so was sooooo tight till the end.

I feel I should give a special shout out to Calvin and GP who both knocked me out of the Perfect 32 in the first place. I feel for you guys as I ducked out at that stage and ended up in an easier league while you strove for glory in the main one but have now found yourselves at a dead end whereas I’m in a final. Sorry about that and I would rather have won through as you did but that’s how the cookie crumbles.
An easier group now means the easiest of easy finals as well against a guy who won’t make a single transfer without checking with me 16 times via text first. No idea what he’s going to do this weekend then as he will have to stand on his own 2 wobbly feet for once. Bring it on Elle, you’re toast pal.

BANTERBURY SHIELD QUALIFICATION 2014/15
From next season , we will give everyone a chance to Qualify for this tournament, but as the main is for teams to earn a place in the 4 Banterbury leagues ! This is still were a majority of places, will come from ,This season the top 4 from all 4 the Banterbury main leagues on Christmas Day Qualified for the Group Stages, As from next season,We are giving those in the Qualification Leagues a chance to be involved
This is how Qualification will be achieved
Premier – Top 3 at Christmas Qualify automatically 4th place enter Play-off
Championship – Top 3 at Christmas Qualify automatically 4th place enter Play-off
League 1 – Top 3 at Christmas Qualify automatically 4th enter place Play-off
League 2 – Top 3 at Christmas Qualify automatically 4th enter place Play-off
League A Qualification – 1st place at Christmas enter play-off
League B Qualification – 1st place at Christmas enter play-off
League C Qualification – 1st place at Christmas enter play-off
League D Qualification – 1st place at Christmas enter play-off
Play-offs – the play-offs between the 4th placed teams Banterbury Leagues & the 1st placed teams from Qualification Leagues, will meet in a 2 legged one off match-up with the win earning their place in the Group stage of the Competition in the New year, The Play-offs will take place in between Christmas & New Year
Group Stages
There will be 4 groups and all 4 will be seeded so no one from the same Banterbury League will meet at this stage, there are 6 group games ,Teams playing each other twice,the top 2 from each group qualify for the Knock-out stages
Knock-out Stages
Quarter Finals – will be played over 2 legs
Semi Finals – will be played over 2 legs
Final – with be a one of game to be played last game-week of the season
