FF247 Site Team & Predicted Line Ups Gameweek 3
Welcome to FF247 Site Team & Predicted Line Ups Gameweek 3
A hugely pleasing 74 points in Gameweek 2 returned our first green arrow of the season, admittedly it was our first available opportunity, but still nice to be going in the right direction early doors.
Overall rank is now 1,765,509 (from 4,137,259) and only 78 points off first place for those counting!
Leaving aside Leon Bailey (1) – what were any of us thinking? – our two worst performers of the week were two of our Liverpool players in Trent (3) and Salah (2). Not very often we’ll say that.
Our City double up in defence is working a treat with Ederson (6) and Cancelo (7) being supplemented by Reece James still scoring 7 points in a game in which he was both booked and lost two goals. Sensational!
Luis Diaz (9), captain Erling Haaland (10) and Gabriel Jesus (19 … NINETEEN) did the heavy lifting further ahead.
Our Gameweek 2 Result
We have £0.3mln in the bank and 1 free transfer to use ahead of Gameweek 3. Let’s go see what was decided.
Our Gameweek 3 Transfer(s)
The default position was that Bailey was in our ‘bus’ team. This was spotted and very quickly he was kicked to the bench and Perisic put into his place.
We took a look at our team and the transfer we had and, as usual, we deciced that if we could save a transfer, we would. And we have.
Perisic into the starting eleven, Neco Williams to come on IF we need him and Bailey sent to Coventry. Hopefully literally, as well as figuratively….
To confirm then we have SAVED our free transfer
Captain – GABRIEL JESUS
The captain template matrix has been smashed, I repeat the CAPTAIN TEMPLATE MATRIX HAS BEEN SMASHED.
Salah and Haaland have great games admittedly, but then so do Arsenal and Jesus, who play Bournemouth on Saturday evening. He’s in form, they’re in form and Bournemouth are as likely to lose another 4 as they are to keep the door shut.
Haaland to step in as vice if need be.

Predicted Line-ups and FPL Team News
Rather than clutter the site up on deadline eve with too many articles we have tagged our predicted line-ups on here.
As a quick reminder –
There are two versions of this article.
The one below has a drop-down version. It’s fairly idiot proof – you simply click on the small arrow to the right of the team name and you get a drop-down list of all the teams. Simply click on the one you want to see and hey presto, etc. This is the published article with the comments section to crack on with.
The other one is permanently live and has the ‘nicer’ grid layout. If you want to see that version you can click here. This can also be easily accessed at any time via a myriad of links on our homepage – Header link, Hot Topics link, Quick Access link on mobile and it is also linked towards the end of all of our regular articles.
What you see below is a live link to what Drafthound have on their website. Why is that significant? Well, firstly, it now means that the second they make any updates in reaction to live team news then they will also appear on here. Being uber helpful in that respect they also time-stamp all of their line-ups so you can tell to the minute when it was last updated.
As an additional extra if you click on any player icon on the team line-up that will take you to their own page on Drafthound, from where you can see up to date season stats, their upcoming fixture schedule and use a comparison tool to view similar players.
Given their time and effort in providing this content for us it would be rude not to occasionally click on the Drafthound link and check out their own fabulous content as there are FPL articles aplenty on there too.
You can access our live feed to these here.

Who’s the better pick
Mount or Kulusevski?
Kulu
Cheers I’ll go with that
+1
+2
Best set and forget 4.5m gk?
Probably Raya up to GW16, with Sanchez close behind.
Raya would be my pick
Cheers guys 2 votes for Raya. Was considering between him and Sanchez
You’re very welcome! Now let’s watch Henderson and Travers make a fool of us all
At least I have someone else to blame if that happens
Raya
Landslide win for Raya
I would say Sanchez. Brighton defence look solid.
Have 2 FT with 0.5 in the bank..
Thinking of doing Bailey to DaSilva and bench Trippier and leaning on giving Neto a chance before moving on.
Any other good options? Should I use other free transfer for Trippier or Neto.
Thanks a lot!
Think that’s a good plan and something similar to what I’m thinking Bailey to someone and roll the transfer giving you more clarity after a 3rd game week and 2ft’s to play with.
Decent plan, buys you another week to decide on any big moves
Think I’m going to give Mount another week and Bench Trippier, Looking to move Bailey on though.
Who would you guy’s suggest, I’m currently looking at Dewsbury Hall but I also like the look of Dasilva.
Also who would you start Andreas or Neco?
Neco’s my choice to start of those two.
Neco for me too (and Andreas is a slight doubt) – the only scorer for Everton this season is OG .
Good folks of the adventurous fantasy football world – whatever can think of doing here?
Dane, just get rid of Bailey and get Dasilva or Dewsbury and roll over the other.
Bailey to Da Silva
+1
This + Mount to Kulu
Perhapr Trippier to Ake or Cucu and just bench Bailey and play Andreas.? Or if you like excitement and a flagrant disregard to safety, Bailey and Trippier to Reed and Perisic and play Andreas over Reed.
Love the thinking out of the box here SF
Cheers guys
How about upgrading one of the Leicester goalkeepers (Iversen) to a 4.5 goalie, keeping Ward for occasional rotation?
Cheers – Not a priority for this round I think, but fair point indeed
Appreciate it’s same teams but martinelli n sterling seems lots better than mount n saka
Yes, actually had that right before kick-off in gw1 but took Saka because of penalties – the regret is strong on that one, priced out by 0.4 already though
Bit of a dilemma Jesus or salah for capo I’m leaning towards Jesus.
Salah
A lot of people are in the same boat. I’m leaning towards Jesus.
1. Salah
2. Haaland
3. Jesus
I think
