FF247 Site Team & Predicted Line Ups Gameweek 3
Welcome to FF247 Site Team & Predicted Line Ups Gameweek 3
A hugely pleasing 74 points in Gameweek 2 returned our first green arrow of the season, admittedly it was our first available opportunity, but still nice to be going in the right direction early doors.
Overall rank is now 1,765,509 (from 4,137,259) and only 78 points off first place for those counting!
Leaving aside Leon Bailey (1) – what were any of us thinking? – our two worst performers of the week were two of our Liverpool players in Trent (3) and Salah (2). Not very often we’ll say that.
Our City double up in defence is working a treat with Ederson (6) and Cancelo (7) being supplemented by Reece James still scoring 7 points in a game in which he was both booked and lost two goals. Sensational!
Luis Diaz (9), captain Erling Haaland (10) and Gabriel Jesus (19 … NINETEEN) did the heavy lifting further ahead.
Our Gameweek 2 Result
We have £0.3mln in the bank and 1 free transfer to use ahead of Gameweek 3. Let’s go see what was decided.
Our Gameweek 3 Transfer(s)
The default position was that Bailey was in our ‘bus’ team. This was spotted and very quickly he was kicked to the bench and Perisic put into his place.
We took a look at our team and the transfer we had and, as usual, we deciced that if we could save a transfer, we would. And we have.
Perisic into the starting eleven, Neco Williams to come on IF we need him and Bailey sent to Coventry. Hopefully literally, as well as figuratively….
To confirm then we have SAVED our free transfer
Captain – GABRIEL JESUS
The captain template matrix has been smashed, I repeat the CAPTAIN TEMPLATE MATRIX HAS BEEN SMASHED.
Salah and Haaland have great games admittedly, but then so do Arsenal and Jesus, who play Bournemouth on Saturday evening. He’s in form, they’re in form and Bournemouth are as likely to lose another 4 as they are to keep the door shut.
Haaland to step in as vice if need be.

Predicted Line-ups and FPL Team News
Rather than clutter the site up on deadline eve with too many articles we have tagged our predicted line-ups on here.
As a quick reminder –
There are two versions of this article.
The one below has a drop-down version. It’s fairly idiot proof – you simply click on the small arrow to the right of the team name and you get a drop-down list of all the teams. Simply click on the one you want to see and hey presto, etc. This is the published article with the comments section to crack on with.
The other one is permanently live and has the ‘nicer’ grid layout. If you want to see that version you can click here. This can also be easily accessed at any time via a myriad of links on our homepage – Header link, Hot Topics link, Quick Access link on mobile and it is also linked towards the end of all of our regular articles.
What you see below is a live link to what Drafthound have on their website. Why is that significant? Well, firstly, it now means that the second they make any updates in reaction to live team news then they will also appear on here. Being uber helpful in that respect they also time-stamp all of their line-ups so you can tell to the minute when it was last updated.
As an additional extra if you click on any player icon on the team line-up that will take you to their own page on Drafthound, from where you can see up to date season stats, their upcoming fixture schedule and use a comparison tool to view similar players.
Given their time and effort in providing this content for us it would be rude not to occasionally click on the Drafthound link and check out their own fabulous content as there are FPL articles aplenty on there too.
You can access our live feed to these here.

Morning all. I usually spread the risk of failure by only picking a max of 2 from one club. This week I have Ederson/Cancello/Haaland-Zinchencho/Jesus/Martinelli-Salah/TAA/Diaz. What do you guys think about having 9 from just 3 clubs?
I agree that I try to have a bit of a spread of different clubs within my team – it does feel a bit eggs all in one basket when you look at your squad and have a gameweek that could only be three or four matches.
Hey guys, I think this is it for my WC team. Unfortunately DaSilva’s price did not rise today so it’s thrown a spanner in the works and I’ll have to put up with Ward another two Gws. Plan is to get Raya when DaSilva’s price rises another 0.1m and if I can resist not doing Walker to Perisic. Am I gtg? Still cant decide yet on capo.
Yeah, that all makes perfect sense. Not keen on the goalkeeper line up, but appreciate sacrifices are needed to afford who you have elsewhere
I have 9 of your starting line up, so I give the team a big thumbs up.
I have gone with Salah as Captain, as Man Utd are in such a mess.
Walker to Saliba/White would free up 0.5.
Whilst Walker gets plenty of clean sheets, his attacking returns are somewhat woeful
2021/22 – 2 Assists. 2020/21 – 1 Goal, 1 Assist
Looks all set
Thanks a lot guys for the comments. Best of luck !
Would Castagne to Cucurella be a good move? I’ve got 1m in the bank but can’t quite stretch as far as James. Or keep as is?
I’d keep this week. Dewsbury-Hall on your bench isn’t ideal, but I’m struggling to see who would start ahead of him other than Castagne himself.
You are good to go for this week.
Get rid of Castagne next week, when they face Chelsea
Morning all! One hour to deadline!
How do I look?
Good to go.
I have Captained Salah against a woeful Man Utd team, but any of Jesus, Salah or Haaland could
wreak havoc this week
Thanks, HC!
Like a Badger with a fake mustache and a hat!
All set
Cheers!
Salah or Jesus captain?
I’ve got Ramsdale in goal debating whether to get Sanchez upgrade a defender to Gabriel
I’m on Jesus, but there are plenty of good options this week to be fair
Currently on Salah not sure who to pick out the the two
Good morning. Good luck all.
Who.would you get for Bailey? Dasilva or Rodrigo. I have Toney.
Da Silva is popular choice here – if you have the money to upgrade it comes down to whether it’s a player you’re likely to start most weeks.
If so, Rodrigo is likely a decent choice
Leeds have Chelsea this week, so for that reason I would choose Dasilva.
Brentford also have winnable fixtures up to Arsenal in GW8
Out of those two, Dasilva. I personally went for Dewsbury-Hall
