FF247 Fantasy Football Site Team Gameweek 20

Welcome to the FF247 Fantasy Football Site Team Gameweek 20. In a week where some scored over 100 or at least very close to it, we scored 81. Still way above the average of 60 so we should be pleased and it has seen us rise us to a season’s best rank of 107,751. Highlights were a Kane hat-trick, the usual goal and assist for Salah, clean sheets for Christensen, Otamendi and Dunk and a captain’s performance from Sterling. Sadly Begovic, Masuaku, Hazard, Richarlison and Shaqiri scored the grand total of 8pts between them so we expect some payback from them this week.

Last weeks result…

We have held our transfer this week
We had actually planned to sell Lowton for Jones but a cheeky and ill-timed price rise for United’s finest meant we were just short of cash. We are reliant on Rooney playing and given he was pictured visiting sick kids at the hospital on Christmas Eve, we assume he has recovered from his virus… for as much as for the kids’ sake as ours.

There was a suggestion to sell Niasse for Crouchy… which would have given us some cash but it was decided very quickly that two transfers next week would be more useful than swapping one bench warmer for another.

And so this is how we line up ahead of GW20…

Our Captain is Harry Kane
Unanimous(ish) – there was a vote for Salah but he was quickly shouted down by the majority of the committee. Let’s hope for another hatty then Harold, or will he just troll us again?!

All that remains is to wish you all and your families a Happy and Peaceful Christmas and of course a bumper GW20!

  1. Anything else to do?

    • Other than backtrack over the fact that I only have 10 players next week smile

    • That’s a good side Initt. Would do Rangel to Mariappa. He’s more nailed than the former. Also, looks well set for the DGW. But, having 4 DGW players mean you’d have only 10 for the blank GW, may be 9 if Rangel/Mariappa do not start.

    • I think Gross is the only player that I could question here but he’s just coming off the back of 11 points.

      That looks DGW-ready. Will you bother with Eriksen or Alli nearer the time?

    • Might as well stick Adrián in there for Eliot as well

  2. Done Hazard to KDB. Saves me 0.5m. A bit worried on Sane. He was brought out after 63 mins only. Who is a better option in longer terms, him or Sterling?

    • I’d play Pope.Elliot would probably get a zero or a single point possibly..rest looks good. Save the FT for the BGW and DGW

    • Is Rooney going to be starting? No idea who id but in his place though. Rashford maybe

  6. Merry Christmas to all, this is my current team, I will save free transfer for GW21. What I could do to make most of the double week, who shall I sell and buy, I am thinking to use Kane as triple captain for GW22. Any suggestion welcome? I am thinking about Eriksen for De Bruyne…

    • I personally will not make big changes for the double game week as there is no guarantee anyone of high value will play two games, including Eriksen or even Kane.

      The only players I have my eye on is potentially Arnautovic or Lanzini as they will swap easily for Richarlison in my team.
