FF247 Fantasy Football Site Team Gameweek 20
Welcome to the FF247 Fantasy Football Site Team Gameweek 20. In a week where some scored over 100 or at least very close to it, we scored 81. Still way above the average of 60 so we should be pleased and it has seen us rise us to a season’s best rank of 107,751. Highlights were a Kane hat-trick, the usual goal and assist for Salah, clean sheets for Christensen, Otamendi and Dunk and a captain’s performance from Sterling. Sadly Begovic, Masuaku, Hazard, Richarlison and Shaqiri scored the grand total of 8pts between them so we expect some payback from them this week.

We have held our transfer this week
We had actually planned to sell Lowton for Jones but a cheeky and ill-timed price rise for United’s finest meant we were just short of cash. We are reliant on Rooney playing and given he was pictured visiting sick kids at the hospital on Christmas Eve, we assume he has recovered from his virus… for as much as for the kids’ sake as ours.
There was a suggestion to sell Niasse for Crouchy… which would have given us some cash but it was decided very quickly that two transfers next week would be more useful than swapping one bench warmer for another.

Our Captain is Harry Kane
Unanimous(ish) – there was a vote for Salah but he was quickly shouted down by the majority of the committee. Let’s hope for another hatty then Harold, or will he just troll us again?!

I’m worrying Aguero maybe not play for GW20 (or he play about 50 minutes). So, I’m thinking about transferring Aguero to Morata. Morata has 2 fixtures to Brighton and Stoke at home stadium.

Richarlison to Silva a good move? 2FT and 2.0 in the bank. What are the chances of Silva getting rested?
KP – I dont think Silva is the one at risk, given he didn’t play in gw18. I wouldnt sell Richarlison though.
Anyway, this screen shot is for gw19 so make sure you set the team well for gw20 (RLC ahead of Ogbonna for instance).

Is anyone else having doubts about Kane as Cappo?
No. My other options (Salah, Sane, Morata) all have ups and downs, namely rotation/form, while Harry will surely start and has reached his form peak, apparently.
Hazard could be an option too.

Any suggestions on this lot? I’m thinking either Simpson or Francis out but I’m not sure who I want to bring in!
Morning Kop, similar predicament – I was even considering Robertson last night. Admittedly it was quite late!
Problem with Robertson is the possibility of Klopp playing Milner either today or GW21.

Forget about genius Klopp! You think he will or just play Milner there in the Cup?
Hadn’t even considered Kenny to be honest – fixtures are average and would be swayed more if these next 2 matches were at home. Or indeed either of them.
Hi Kop – I’d buy and play Ogbonna/Masuaku ahead of Dunk. Kenny is a possibility but with 3 away games in his next four and with Spurs and united in those four you may want to postpone those plans. Unless you can bench him for Dunk in those. Anyway, no other noble candidates in that bracket for this gw20 so yeah , why not buckle up for dgw22? It’s not like you’d be missing many pts in this gw20 anyway.

Thanks lads. My issue with bringing in a West Ham player is that I’ll then have 2 players with a BGW next week. Add in rotation and I could struggle to field XI next week!
