There are great weeks, good weeks, average weeks and horrendous weeks. GW9 was definitely the latter for us as we scored just 30pts, 7pts below the average and a GW rank of 5.5mln. D’oh! We know we weren’t alone, after all misery loves company. Looking for highlights is understandably easy enough as they were few and far between. Digne was our highest scorer with 6 followed close behind by Sterling with 5. Captain Abraham did nowt, but he wasn’t alone. We did suffer of course by the absences of Salah and Aguero with Cantwell and Pieters coming off the bench for an accumulated 4pts. Lundstram was frustratingly left stranded third on our bench. ‘Nuff said.
A big fat red arrow was the end result dropping us out of the top 100k for the first time since GW1. We now sit at 115,305th. Hardly a disaster, hopefully just a setback.

Our GW10 Transfer(s)
We could have gone any of about 10 different ways this week. 2 FT’s and and a million in the bank probably does that for you. And it also makes you question everything, your sanity included. At various stages we had Salah out, we had Kun out, we even had both out! We had Vardy in, we had Mane in, we had CHO in, we had D.Silva in, we had KDB in, we thought at one point we may have solved Brexit….
Ultimately we bit the bullet on a simple solution rather than a complex one. Kun and Salah stay, and we correct a wrong ‘un from last week as Josh King leaves for Jimenez, with all his form and fixtures and stuff.
To confirm then we have SOLD Josh King and BOUGHT Raul Jimenez
Captain – Raheem Sterling
Someone from City was the cry. Someone who will actually play, was the actual cry. The problem is we don’t know. We are chancing our arm on the form of Raheem keeping him active.

Assuming Jiménez is out of your reach, I think l’d just save, Pukki can score against United!
I’d prob reassess next GW with 2 FTs if you can’t afford Jimenez
I’d agree with the above. Pukki out makes sense, but probably as a double swap next week rather than a straight swap this week.

It’s a shame to lose both Yarm and Auba, given their home fixtures, but I’d probably go through with it.
That’s the only downside with the -4! Do you think I should hold off for one more week?
What would you prefer here?
Digne to bench fodder (3,9 or 4,0 defender) and:
A)Greenwood to Jimenez
Or
B)Cantwell to martial
B would leave me with a pretty weak bench…

I don’t think you need to wildcard. Wait for the next IB.

i would prefer green to jimenez. Jimenez is likely to start compared to green. besides his form (on the eye) is better than green’s or martial’s at the moment
Agree with oyabbat. A is definitely better than B.
But if you’re thinking of wildcarding into two up front, then greenwood to Connolly would work along with Digne to Lundstram or Tomori.
If these were free I would go for Jimenez.

Is it time to move Mount on? He’s not completed 90mins lately ad playing deeper now that CHO is preferred on the left. I’m thinking of swapping Mount -> CHO as a result.
Also, I’m not sure Otamendi is nailed.. If I do the above move.. I have enough to upgrade Ota to Mendy!
I’m not sure on either of those moves just yet.
Have you got a FT spare? If not, despite the CHO promise, I’d keep Mount for the time being; he doesn’t need 90 minutes to deliver for you.
Yep, got 2FT but nothing in the bank. There is a chance CHO might be rested with Pulisic doing well lately – plus it is Burnley so can’t expect much. I might just do nothing..
