There are great weeks, good weeks, average weeks and horrendous weeks. GW9 was definitely the latter for us as we scored just 30pts, 7pts below the average and a GW rank of 5.5mln. D’oh! We know we weren’t alone, after all misery loves company. Looking for highlights is understandably easy enough as they were few and far between. Digne was our highest scorer with 6 followed close behind by Sterling with 5. Captain Abraham did nowt, but he wasn’t alone. We did suffer of course by the absences of Salah and Aguero with Cantwell and Pieters coming off the bench for an accumulated 4pts. Lundstram was frustratingly left stranded third on our bench. ‘Nuff said.
A big fat red arrow was the end result dropping us out of the top 100k for the first time since GW1. We now sit at 115,305th. Hardly a disaster, hopefully just a setback.

We could have gone any of about 10 different ways this week. 2 FT’s and and a million in the bank probably does that for you. And it also makes you question everything, your sanity included. At various stages we had Salah out, we had Kun out, we even had both out! We had Vardy in, we had Mane in, we had CHO in, we had D.Silva in, we had KDB in, we thought at one point we may have solved Brexit….
Ultimately we bit the bullet on a simple solution rather than a complex one. Kun and Salah stay, and we correct a wrong ‘un from last week as Josh King leaves for Jimenez, with all his form and fixtures and stuff.
To confirm then we have SOLD Josh King and BOUGHT Raul Jimenez
Captain – Raheem Sterling
Someone from City was the cry. Someone who will actually play, was the actual cry. The problem is we don’t know. We are chancing our arm on the form of Raheem keeping him active.

Good afternoon! That’s a well-balanced FF247 team there — very nice — which is going to contrast severely with the following ideas for my own pitiful squad.
Right, basically, I’ve got 2 FTs handy and £0.9M in the bank. All week, I’ve been vividly fantasising about removing Pukki for his recent failures, giving Cantwell one more chance due to his more reasonable price.
My initial ideas were:
(a) do Pukki + McGinn —> Vardy + King (playing Dendoncker or Rico before Wildcarding soon);
(b) do Pukki + Otamendi —> Laca + Reid (playing Rico before Wildcarding soon).
My prior gut preference? Vardy’s nailed — Laca would be risky — and keeping Otamendi, despite Pep’s rotation, would be great for City’s two home fixtures.
I then realised today, however, that KDB strikes fear into my heart more than Vardy and Laca combined…
Would a 4-point hit, selling all of Pukki + McGinn + Otamendi, be crazy to finally get him in? I’m very tempted now.

How about Pukki to Jimenez and Otamendi to Tomori?
+1 I wouldn’t sell McGinn right now.
That’s insane. Right up there with premier attackers who’re roughly double his budget price! Man City away, then Liverpool at home, though. I’m very torn due to the terrifying home form of KDB thus far.
Jiménez and Tomori sound like great shouts regardless, mate, cheers. I’ll mull over it again with a pint or two — that reminds me — enjoy this weekend!

Afternoon everyone. I wanted to bring in Auba or Jimenez but cant see how to do it with a hit or without selling Abraham. Any idea what I should do instead? I’ve got 1 ft and 0.1 itb
Depends whether you’re open to taking a hit for either Matt. Personally I wouldn’t and therefore I’d save your FT pal.
Pukki + Cantwell —> Jiménez + ~£4.5M fodder (£4.7M or less) would sort it. Is it worth that 4-point hit now? Debatable.
I was thinking that myself to be honest lads. Just wasnt sure if I should just go for it as I don’t feel my team is the best haha

I think you need to lose your Norwich assets in time but better running at that with two free transfers I think.
How about Salah > Mane to raise the cash for Pukki > Jimenez?
