Welcome to the FF247 Fantasy Football Site Team GW7.
Spawning Glory
A Zinchenko no-show was always on the cards at some point, a Sterling one less so, albeit less excepted. One was plenty enough, but the latter was less welcome, especially considering how many points he may have scored in the annual Watford roasting. Lundstram was our main beneficiary in the above deal as he glefully leapt from the bench, 12 points in hand. Ordinarily we would be more than happy for Mount to climb likewise but this time he simply filled in a two point hole.
Elsewhere our Burnley duo of Pope and Pieters did what they do when at home and combined for 13 between them, McGinn surprised us with a 10 pointer away at Arsenal and Kun somehow disappointed us with an 18 pointer as captain.
Digne, Salah, Cantwell, Barnes and Pukki made up the difference with a grand total of 12 between them.
All this lead to us scoring 67 in total, just 15 above the overall average but it meant yet another green arrow. We have a clean sweep of those now, we’ll be top by Christmas at this rate (and all that)! We gained a fair chunk this week too, 14k places in fact, which sees us in at 42,695th as we speak.
Our GW7 Result…
Let’s go see what was decided this week…
Our GW7 Transfer(s)
Almost stumpted again. Not least because we had 2 FT’s once more and a starting 11 that we were sort of happy with. ‘Sort of’ probably describes where we were though, and as such changes have indeed been made this time.
With the uncertainty over Mendy and the LB spot at City, and Pep’s penchant for rotation in general, we decided to do away with the services of Zinchenko for starters. His replacement was largely dictated to by what other moves we wanted to make and the funds required to do so. In this case we quite fancied having a bit of Tammy given both his form and Chelsea’s fixtures. This meant slim pickings for the Zinchenko replacement and so we have opted to go with Tyrone Mings given that Villa have looked fairly solid at home so far. He won’t get to play (in our team) every week but that’s ok as he rotates decently enough with his new team mates.
To confirm then we have SOLD Zinchenko & Barnes and BOUGHT Mings & Abraham
Captain – Sergio Aguero
He may have disappointed us a bit last week with just the solitary goal out of 8 but having watched the highlights he really could and should have got a hat-trick, at least. His oppo this week is an Everton team struggling with both form and confidence, and so whilst this may not be another 8 goaler we do fancy City to win, and probably handsomely.

In its entirety…. :laugh2:
Apologies for that, we think someone inadvertently ‘scheduled’ it for posting last night. Which would have been fine had I not literally fell asleep at the wheel… I’ve had a very long week!
Let’s hope Barnes doesn’t double-punish you
I did the same transfer away from Barnes to Abraham, then watched the highlights from BUR’s game last week – he was unlucky with some of his shots and he looked pretty decent. However CHE’s run of fixtures is better than BUR’s.
Help.
Cant decide.
Captain: Salah, Sterling or KdB?
I am unable to answer that, all thanks to Everton being so rubbish at the moment! Normally it would be easy Salah but now, it’s a coin toss (between three players I know I know)…
I’d go Everton, but I ditched them..lol
Cue Digne with 15 points
I think I ain’t leaving him on the bench, Rico probably won’t get anything either, at least Digne has a chance of a lucky FK goal or an assist
So I’d take that 15
I hope he dont Smash, I have just got rid of him for Otamendi!!
I have Salah and Sterling, too…and the same dilemma. Abraham’s also another option, but I read this on BBC:
‘…Abraham has scored seven goals in his past four Premier League games. However, in his English league career, he’s faced Brighton more often without finding the net than he has any other side (four games).’
I think it’ll be a toss of a 3-sided coin tomorrow morning!
Lol @ Loud.
To add to that, I am risking playing Greenwood ahead of Kelly, Dunk and Dendoncker!!!
What a dilemma for the weekend
Greenwood sounds like a good plan judging by their current striker-less predicament. Who else would they put up top – Lingard? Greenwood should be primed to go after the match in mid-week. Hope it comes off :good: !
Thanks Loud
just captain to decide.lol
good luck to you
I know there are doubts over Maddison but I was initially thinking of bringing him in for Ceballos. But I’m wondering whether I should ship Greenwood? How does Greenwood, Ceballos and AWB to C Wilson, Soyuncu and a 4.7 midfielder sound and switch to a 343?
Maybe get Haller and Cantwell instead of Wilson and a 4.7.
I’d hold onto Greenwood for a week rather than take a -4 at the moment. This week is his best chance to start. Maybe focus on the other 2 if u have the Date
AwB plus Ceballos for Rico plus Yarmolenko? It might give you a midfield selection headache for this week but you would be set up next week on.
Would be nice if you linked your team to your name Doc! always nice to see the history of the main advisors
I’m hardly a main advisor mate
I just give my 2 cents where I can
So much so that I’m unaware how to link my team to my name
Evening all,
Think I’m set for the weekend, other than captain….
SON H v Sth
TAMMY H v Bha
SALAH A v SUtd
KDB A v Everton
AUBA A v Utd
Any help appreciated!!
Thanks
HarryP
It’s probably too tough for anyone to nail any colours to masts this week Harry, certainly on behalf of others anyway.
That said…. I fancy Tammy this week (although I don’t own him!) but when I saw your list there my immediate gut reaction was Salah. (I don’t own him either, which doesn’t help!).
Thanks for honesty Init, it’s such a tough week isn’t it?!
They all feel like they could up trumps OR the dreaded 2 pointer.
My capo choice has let me down 4 weeks running since Kane at h v Newc…
Alot of people seem to be moving away from sterling as Captain choice this week. Think the majority will be on Abraham or salah. Going for sterling myself. He’ll be starting this week I can see another big scoring game with everton being so poor and you would expect sterling to be amongst the goals. Saying that I’ve got the captain choice wrong every week so far
Nice team and transfers Team FF247!
Struggling with captain picks this week but with everyone selling Sterling, it may make it even nicer if he scores big with the armband on …right decision or should I go Tammy?
Everything else alright with the lineup?…need big points this week to make up for a downright criminal amount of hits! :dunce:
No reason he can’t, but as I’ve said elsewhere it’s a coin toss this week.
Your team looks great (on paper) and the armband can go to any of your midfielders and forwards. The captaincy is very open this week, so it’s down to gut feeling, I reckon. Good luck!
Cheers Tornado and Init
Good luck this GW!
A well balanced side if I saw 2. Your team value must definitely blow mine outta the water
Pope or fabianski in goal lads?
Pope I think, although I reckon both concede so it’s a fools choice.
That’s who I have in. Dammit. Cheers innit
pope I think. think bournemouth will be more likely to score against west ham than aston villa will
Fabianski for me. I am planning to get Cresswell in for Robbo. Wiill save 2m as well which I can use to upgrade my front line-up. Westham anyways have great 4 out of next 5 fixtures. Then I am planning to WC after GW12 in the IB.
O shit…. Haha
That’s my furure GW8 plan anyways.. 😎
