FF247 FPL Pre-Season Hub 2023-24
Welcome to FF247 FPL Pre-Season Hub 2023-24
Now that we are at the end of June (I know, right?), we will have to turn our attention to what our Premier League clubs have up their sleeves in terms of pre-season preparations for the forthcoming 2023-24 Premier League season.
Most clubs return for initial health checks with training following around the 5th – 8th of July mark with additional time off given for those playing late into the final international break and even longer for those at the UEFA Under-21 tournament.
Pre-season friendlies themselves, begin around the 10th – 12th July.
We have listed below a run-down of the fixtures arranged at the time of publication which will be updated with additional fixtures when announced.
As in previous seasons, each team will have a comment attached to this article where match information will be posted to act as a living record of how their pre-season is progressing. This will contain score, scoring, assist and team line-up information and indeed, any other salient information deemed FPL-appropriate to assist us ahead of the new season.
Any questions or comments welcome.

Could Bowen be a good choice? 3 goals and 2 assists so far this pre-season. I’ll keep an eye on him. 7.0 is a little pricey though.
Not for me. WHM fixtures not great. And Mbeumo and the BHA mids are better and cheaper.

Pedro Neto scored in pre-season! Quick, get him in our GW1 teams now
But seriously, is anybody considering Doherty, now he’s back at Wolves and only £4.5m? Is he first choice? Could be a gem for attacking returns, if he plays like the Doherty of old…
Nah not for me while they are in a back four which the manager generally plays. If they change to wing backs sure but no sign of that. I think Wolves struggle this year two midfielders Neves and Moutinho going is pretty catastrophic

*** NEW ARTICLE – PRE-SEASON HUB 2023-24 ***
It’s here. Let’s get to it!
Nice work GP, i look forward to following this
Thanks Padster.
Get involved if you can – it’s interactive! If you find any information on anything you think relevant, get it posted!
Have a great summer.
Good stuff GP – looking forward to it. Have a nice summer break (when it arrives)!
Cheers, AJW.
20 price reveals start today, 1 from each club then more Tuesday and Wednesday, my guess is the game will be up and running by the end of the week
Haaland price.. 14.0
I’d take him at 16
From what I saw:
Haaland: 14m
Salah: 12.5m
Trippier: 6.5m
Son: 9m
Odegaard: 8.5m
Bruno F: 8.5m
TAA: 8m
Leaves me with 33m…lol for 2 strikers, 1 midfielder, 3 defenders and 2 goalies lol
Hey Hammer, how’s all with you? Hope you are having a good summer and it’s mad its almost time for team planning. Mo and Haaland are going to be a must.
I’ll be going without Trippier to begin with. I’m hoping Botman and Burn are in the 5 / 5.5 mark and will do both over him.
Robinson at 6.5 ml has my eye over TAA for now.
Son is an odd one, need to read up on his preseason form 1st.
And Bryan Mbeumo classed as a midfield with Tony out the 1st few weeks is more then likely in my team too.
Think Odegaard might be too high for me know. And Brunos form is a gable. If you get his 1st fpl form he’ll be the rashford of last season
You might be able to get away with not owning Trippier for the opening fixtures. They don’t look great:
AVL, mci, LIV, bha, BRE
Botman’s a cheaper option if you need Newcastle defensive coverage.
TAA being 8m, still as a defender and playing out of position sounds great to me!
