Tea or Dinner?
Clearing the weekly average by more than just a sliver of daylight was a refreshing change for us in GW10. We scored 57 points which was a full 13 above the average of 44. That’s more like it!
We had three tens, a nine and an eight among our lot and shoutouts go to Kevin de Bruyne, Jack Grealish and Jamie Vardy (all 10) – although JV9 needed the armband to achieve his – then onto Diogo Jota (9) and Ben Chilwell (8).
The rest, well the least said the better with no fewer than FIVE 2-pointers which at least was better than Scott Dann with his big fat zero.
We now look towards next week and the obvious Aston Villa/Newcastle issue which of course affects us too! We have Grealish and Targett missing for this game-week so how do we cope?
Well, with the confidence of a green arrow and a rise of 374,490 in the rankings, we welcome the challenge.
We now reside at 1,674,807 (yeah, great…) with eyes on the top 1 million our next target. What a season, and all that. With two free transfers and a bit of cash in hand (albeit just £0.2m) we should be ok to hurdle this quite easily, shouldn’t we……….

This wasn’t quite as straightforward as anticipated. In fact we were almost stumped at one point. After a few easy weeks in terms of decisions it was perhaps refreshing to finally have a debate on our hands. The good news was that we decided on next weeks moves. The bad news was that this weeks proved rather more difficult.
Rather than talk you through some 357 or so WhatsApp messages allow us to summarise the sequence of events:

Need some suggestions? 0.0 in the bank and 1FT.
I’m thinking Son to Mahrez and Martinez to Mendy. Usually I wouldn’t take a hit for a goalkeeper but Mendy is probably an upgrade over Martinez and worst case I think it’ll be for a 2 point hit instead of 4. The only concern is Martinez would have 2 games in hand, anyone know when they’ll be rescheduled? I don’t want to waste transfers again to get Martinez back for double gameweek if the fixtures are rescheduled in the near future. Thoughts on my team and moves?
KP, I think Spurs will destroy Arsenal so I’d leave Son there and get Adams for Watkins and play Lamptey.
That’s a great suggestion Cookie. Although I’ll have no one which stands out as a captain choice. Feels like Mahrez vs Fulham should be a better shout than Son vs Arsenal but then again peptation is a little bit of a risk too.

Evening all,
I occasionally call that particular meal ‘dinner’ but will mostly say tea. However I always refer to the “tea time kick off” and the kids eat ‘school dinner’ at lunch time NEVER school lunch.
I shouldn’t be allowed a vote really should I?
