FF247 Site Team Gameweek 25

Welcome to FF247 Site Team & Predicted Line Ups Gameweek 25

As usual a good week goes hand in glove with a good captain. Step forward Jarrod Bowen (22) as our star performer of the week. He also hit the post as well so it could have been utopia but alas, let’s not get too greedy.

Diogo Jota rounded off our gameweek on Thursday with a sweet 16 points as he single-handedly took apart Leciester at Anfield.

The supporting cast of Son (7), and the defensive trio of Cancelo (7), Alexander-Arnold (6) and Aaron (of the ‘Arse) Ramsdale (9) took us to a weekly score of 76, some 26 points above the average and left us as very happy bunnies.

We climb again, to 111,831 in the overall rankings.

Our Gameweek 24 Result…

We have £1.4mln in the bank and 2 free transfers to use ahead of Gameweek 25. Let’s go see what was decided.

Our Gameweek 25 Transfers

We have to talk about Ronnie …..

Ah rats! He has a double gameweek, he is spared. But we are on the look out for a perhaps more reliable option for our DGW captain.

Trick me once; fool on you, trick me twice; fool on me, trick me three times; buy more United because you’re beyond help and obviosuly in it for the pain.

Three early votes for Bruno Fernandes (quickly to be four) meant that we were pretty much selling Son for him and banking a transfer. We discussed using the other transfer. We could have grabbed a Brighton player but for the prices of their best players compared to the similar-cost players in our current squad, there wasn’t an obvious move which wouldn’t have meant leaving a decent option on the bench. We’ll hold and roll one again.

To confirm then we have SOLD HEUNG-MIN SON and BOUGHT BRUNO FERNANDES

Captain – BRUNO FERNANDES

As mentioned, our new boy comes in and takes the armband for us. Ronaldo is demoted but not completely bombed out and will take over if Bruno doesn’t manage to see a minute for whatever reason.

Predicted Line-ups and FPL Team News Gameweek 25

Rather than clutter the site up on a Friday with too many articles we have tagged our predicted line-ups on here.

As a quick reminder –

There are two versions of this article.

The one below has a drop-down version. It’s fairly idiot proof – you simply click on the small arrow to the right of the team name and you get a drop-down list of all the teams. Simply click on the one you want to see and hey presto, etc. This is the published article with the comments section to crack on with.

The other one is permanently live and has the ‘nicer’ grid layout. If you want to see that version you can click here. This can also be easily accessed at any time via a myriad of links on our homepage – Header link, Hot Topics link, Quick Access link on mobile and it is also linked towards the end of all of our regular articles.

What you see below is a live link to what Drafthound have on their website. Why is that significant? Well, firstly, it now means that the second they make any updates in reaction to live team news then they will also appear on here. Being uber helpful in that respect they also time-stamp all of their line-ups so you can tell to the minute when it was last updated.

As an additional extra if you click on any player icon on the team line-up that will take you to their own page on Drafthound, from where you can see up to date season stats, their upcoming fixture schedule and use a comparison tool to view similar players.

Given their time and effort in providing this content for us it would be rude not to occasionally click on the Drafthound link and check out their own fabulous content as there are FPL articles aplenty on there too.

Hope everyone is having a good week. Are Kane + ESR to Maupay + Salah good moves? Any other suggestions?

      inittowinit says:

That’s taking out two decent options for next weeks DGW though? ESR will start because of the red. I’d want Kane for that despite City. Not saying don’t do it I’m just playing devils advocate. Bruno to Salah next week is your alternative.

      • coys9 says:

Thanks Init for the suggestion. Was actually thinking to then do Bruno & Maupay to Son & Weghorst for DGW26. Feels Son gives better value than Kane and frees up some funds. Btw been wanting to ask what did you think of Dele’s transfer? smile

        • inittowinit says:

I think your grav probably best sums up my feelings about that, especially having seen him play the other night!

It could work out great eventually and Frank is probably exactly what he needs, as in a younger coach, as Poch was. It’ll take time though. And unfortunately Everton don’t have that luxury right now to nurse a player back to form.

        • coys9 says:

Still rooting for him to get back to his best and feels like it’s just a confidence issue that he’s facing. Anyway been thinking hard the past half an hour about keeping Kane and ESR and instead move for Weghorst , Salah and White for Broja, Bruno and Coufal which could bring me to 10 DGW players for GW26 smile

    Jamie Mc says:

What is the gut feeling on KdB starting away to Norwich?

£12.2m no show is a he’ll of a waste of money.

    Thanks

My team is looking a little worse for wear for the upcoming GW I have 2Ft 2.3m ITB all chips to play I have a 100pt buffer in my little leagues so I can take it hit.

    What would you’s suggest?

Seeing a lot of Fernandes C, tempted to take a punt on CR7 instead?

      highaction says:

      I did the un-thinkable… brought in Pogba and I’m gonna C him…
Depends on your situation.. chasing or want to stay with the pack… I’m a fan of the differential… especially the later it gets in the campaign..

      Terminators says:

I would go with Bruno should get points for CS, Ronaldo will only gets points if he scores goals and honestly I think he has just as much chance as Bruno, but Ronaldo seems to have fallen out of favour with the manager.
I am staying away from all UTD players myself.
