FF247 Site Team Game-week 3 FPL Tips
Welcome to the FF247 Site Team Game-week 3 FPL Tips article. A quick revisit to GW2 and we had a decent week scoring 71 points, which was predominantly due to our forwards’ performances – Andre Gray, Zlatan and Captain Kun all did the business with Antonio Valencia’s clean sheet our only other real contribution – sadly we left Gareth McAuley on the bench! Bizarrely, despite beating the average score of 57, we still saw red arrows, but we are well used to them by now, so all is good. Our rank is 46,697 which we are pleased with and we have two free transfers to waste.
Transfer decision: we have sold Roberto Firmino and bought Ross Barkley and held a transfer.
So Firmino has gone for his Merseyside counterpart, who has begun the season with a goal and an assist, seems to be enjoying life under Ronald Koeman and Everton’s fixtures now look promising on paper which we have probably just jinxed for them. Firmino can consider himself slightly unlucky to be given just two matches but with Andre Gray facing a potential ban we felt it wise to raise a bit of cash in case we need to replace Gray soon.
Our captain is Sergio Aguero and vice-captain is Zlatan Ibrahimovic
How one splits them we don’t know, both are great choices for this week and indeed most weeks. We have gone with the home player, Aguero, who has scored in eight of his last nine league matches and loves to score at the Etihad.
The only other decision we had to make was whether to play Pape Souare or Gareth McAuley – we plumped for Souare purely on the grounds that we have Ben Foster in goal and weren’t keen on doubling up on West Brom.

Nice shooting lads – red arrows with 71 is insane but that’s what happens when budget blokes like mcauley and capoue score +10… All’s good for now though, the differences up there are very slim and #40k rank is great.
I see why the move, question is would you do it If that extra transfer wasnt there? Cheers
Final team below
Last question – which cheap Swansea defender?!
A. Amat (4m)
or
B. Kingsley (4.1m)
Thanks!!
Amat, they haven’t sign a new CB and Kingsley could be replaced by Taylor
Which one are the best?
A) Deolufeu, Gray
B) Redmond, Gray
C) Deolufeu, Redmond (subs gray)
plz help guys…
C. if Gray is suspended if not B.
Ok Tq Chriss Ollie25
Who would you play? Morgan against Swansea or Williams against Stoke :/
Hey Snookie, Morgan for me mate.
Thanks Cookie
Playing devils advocate here and an alternative method of thinking. I wonder if Man U will keep a clean sheet against hull?
Could you play Williams instead of Valencia?
There are a lot of people with double Man U defensive cover so would be great for you?
Think they will keep Cs and even if not Valencia has more of attacking threat so will play him
Capoue first sub instead of williams.
& the predictive stats say as you are at the back.
(which means one of them will be the wrong call but no one can predict which)
Any help with this lot???Have 2 ft and nothing in the bank.
Get Barkley for Redmond? Or Williams for Stones
Firmino>Barkley and Morgan>Baines
which 3 defenders should i play for this GW?
Dann Friend Fuchs Baines McAuley
Futchs Baines McAuley
For myself Dann would be a sell. Palace dont have good reliability for Clean sheets, & if Dann does score that too is unpredictable.
So either he needs to be on the pitch 100% or off
I’d say the same about Baines, but in his case he has the potential of being the 7+mn defender he was a while ago.
+1 for Fuchs,Baines,McCauley
interesting, Dann is ranked 3rd for CBI and scored midweek in the league cup
i know the palace defence hasn’t looked good thus far but it his attacking threat which is appealing to me.
clean sheets are a bonus
i was considering to start him cause of palace’s good fixtures and beleive he is likely to score and get bonus points if they can keep a clean sheet
