FF247 Site Team Game-week 3 FPL Tips
Welcome to the FF247 Site Team Game-week 3 FPL Tips article. A quick revisit to GW2 and we had a decent week scoring 71 points, which was predominantly due to our forwards’ performances – Andre Gray, Zlatan and Captain Kun all did the business with Antonio Valencia’s clean sheet our only other real contribution – sadly we left Gareth McAuley on the bench! Bizarrely, despite beating the average score of 57, we still saw red arrows, but we are well used to them by now, so all is good. Our rank is 46,697 which we are pleased with and we have two free transfers to waste.
Transfer decision: we have sold Roberto Firmino and bought Ross Barkley and held a transfer.
So Firmino has gone for his Merseyside counterpart, who has begun the season with a goal and an assist, seems to be enjoying life under Ronald Koeman and Everton’s fixtures now look promising on paper which we have probably just jinxed for them. Firmino can consider himself slightly unlucky to be given just two matches but with Andre Gray facing a potential ban we felt it wise to raise a bit of cash in case we need to replace Gray soon.
Our captain is Sergio Aguero and vice-captain is Zlatan Ibrahimovic
How one splits them we don’t know, both are great choices for this week and indeed most weeks. We have gone with the home player, Aguero, who has scored in eight of his last nine league matches and loves to score at the Etihad.
The only other decision we had to make was whether to play Pape Souare or Gareth McAuley – we plumped for Souare purely on the grounds that we have Ben Foster in goal and weren’t keen on doubling up on West Brom.

True! I’m on my WC and I’m actually considering to bring him in, he would be one my defenders which I would bench so if he doesn’t play in GW4 it wouldnt hurt me too much!
True Mitro, just not sure that planning to bring in a player who will likely be benched after this GW is wise. If nothing else it would mean a forced transfer to get three playing defenders one week down the line. If he starts regularly he is gold.

Off to the big smoke for the weekend so I won’t get much time to get on the site
Currently on a WC and my team is currently looking like this; what’s your thoughts on 2 4.0 GK’s? They should both play obviously clean sheets could be an issue but you would think they could make that up with points for saves!
P.S any ideas on who to bring in for 4.7 in defence?
Or do I stick with my original WC plan?

Really not sure I’d be too confident in running that strategy if I’m honest Mitro. That said, I’ve rotated two £4.5m and left a 15+ total on my bench so far so you may not be any worse off then me with an extra £1m to spend! It’s difficult because the front 7 are so strong and I like that you have an Arsenal player in – I’m trying to find a way to get one soon. I would definitely consider a downgrade of one of your mids though, maybe Barkley to Bolasie?
Might just have to go with Heaton and see what happens

Did you had Zlatan before the pricerise? If yes, I think this is a wrong move, since it will cost you to bring him back in. Especially since you have Hazard and another double-up on Pool mids. Defense will be an issue for next GW.

Yeah man. I don’t plan on bringing Ibra back in yet though. It’s more fun to take risks in my opinion.

Wazza, for a team with no United attacking coverage, I like it, apart from Schmeichel – fixtures, no Kante and Mendy injured would dictate no Schmeichel for me on a wildcard.

Ah that’s annoying was hoping to find out if he will be banned as don’t really want to get rid
