Welcome to FF247 Site Team GW10

It’s fair to say that we had a bit of a ‘mare last week!

33 points.

10 players with 3 points or less.

3 transfers in – all did bugger all. The departed Salah scored though, of course.

A 10 million+ GW rank.

A 1 million ish overall drop.

The one plus was a Spurs defender on 11 points. And then we saw Van de Ven on 23… Couldn’t even pick the right one of those.

Our Gameweek 9 Result

We have 0.3m in the bank and 1 free transfer to use ahead of GW10. Let’s go see what was decided to try and fix this mess…

Our GW10 Transfer(s)

A WC was suggested, and is probably now becoming long overdue. But for this week at least though we shall simply go with what we have, with the small change of losing patience with Joao Pedro (2 points in 5 consecutive games now) to Mateta. who has some favourable fixtures incoming. But before you say it, no it’s not Liverpool three times on the bounce rofl

To confirm then we have SOLD PEDRO and BOUGHT MATETA

Captain – Haaland
After our punt on a slight differential in Woltemade last week, we are going back to the bleeding obvious this time, and we won’t be alone in that.

Our GW10 team in full…

PREDICTED LINE-UPS

Back by popular demand! Well, sort of… Drafthound have changed their line-up approach this season and what it means for us is that we are no longer able to display a live feed of it on here due to some technical difficulties. That said, what they have done looks great and is still only a click away so if you want to access those they are HERE

  1. NEW ARTICLE- FF247 SITE TEAM GW10

Not very good last week…. rofl

    • Only van der Ven owners had a good week. Lol.

I think you guys look fine.

Hmmm. You reckon Woltemade will do well?

      • You guys look fine apart from the zero Arsenal defensive coverage. Killer, in my opinion.

  2. Any sign of Harry & Lloyd?

Thinking, as per discussions with Terminators…
    Salah & Baleba -> Mbuemo+ Semenyo

Will leave me 2.8m to potentially upgrade someone next week, possibly Barry.

    • it’s a decent move but I’d nearly focus on reijnders first, I think he needs to go imo

      • But if he can be a bench player loves sound decent

      • Trying to change to 343 or 352 is the plan, I agree Reijnders is weak, but if you look at the player values there is a fair amount on the current bench.

Could change to Salah and Baleba out for Mbuemo and Semenyo though.

        • So is Salah and Baleba the best ones to ditch for Mbuemo and Semenyo, or is Reijnders better option over Baleba

    • I think Salah, Baleba and Barry out for Semenyo, Mbuemo and Mateta.

Reijnders is benchable for rotation, if funds are required then keep Balebe and Reijnders for Semenyo or Mbuemo (the thing with Mbuemo is he’ll be going to AFCON but he’s in form and scoring with a decent run of games).

      • Ok, if I do mbuemo, Semenyo and Mateta, it’s a 4ph, but who do I bench if I go 433. Or maybe 343 and play mbuemo, Semenyo, Kudus and rice +bench Reijnders

  4. Just to update I’ve brought in raya so now have double arsenal defence. Apologies in advance that they will no longer be keeping clean sheets

  5. Bench boosted with double spurs defence last week which shot me up to 170k. Playing aggressive with a wildcard now to keep it pace. Thoughts on this draft? Longstaff could also be king who just scored and has a nice fixture.

    • Option 2 is to triple up in Arsenal defence. Risky but could massively pay off.

Basically it’s do I want to trust triple Arsenal defence as well as –
Saka + Krupi Jr OR Enzo + Woltemade

      • Although I like Saka I prefer the second team. You’ll need subs with the fixture congestion in Nov & Dec and the first team has a weaker bench

        • I agree, the second team is better long-term, I know Krupi Jr is doing well and is cheap but how long will he keep playing for, and if you have Semenyo in the team I think Krupi Jr is a waste of a FWD place if you also don’t have Salah as there is more than enough funds to spread about.

      • Hmm that’s a good point. I do see King and Kroupi Jr getting minimal mins. What about if I changed to bring in Pau so there is someone getting the mins I can use in a fail safe way? I’ll also be changing my team a bit once afcon starts so this only has to last me 6 game weeks.

    • Congrats on the good results Makeya! I’d go for Kroupi + Saka, but that’s just me!
Hope all’s fine in the weird Australian weather!
      😉
