It’s fair to say that we had a bit of a ‘mare last week!

10 players with 3 points or less.

3 transfers in – all did bugger all. The departed Salah scored though, of course.

A 10 million+ GW rank.

A 1 million ish overall drop.

The one plus was a Spurs defender on 11 points. And then we saw Van de Ven on 23… Couldn’t even pick the right one of those.

A WC was suggested, and is probably now becoming long overdue. But for this week at least though we shall simply go with what we have, with the small change of losing patience with Joao Pedro (2 points in 5 consecutive games now) to Mateta. who has some favourable fixtures incoming. But before you say it, no it’s not Liverpool three times on the bounce rofl

To confirm then we have SOLD PEDRO and BOUGHT MATETA

After our punt on a slight differential in Woltemade last week, we are going back to the bleeding obvious this time, and we won’t be alone in that.

  1. Mbeumo or Bruno Fernandes?

    • Mbeumo is in form and seems more attacking that Bruno, Bruno is playing pretty well at the moment but this seems to be benefiting Mbeumo and other players at Man U.

      • Yeah, he looks to be playing more advanced. He is on sey pieces, corners and penalties. And he gets defensive contribution. Think he could explode soon. But Mbeumo is cheaper and really in form. So hard this decision.

        • I’m going Mbuemo. He seems to be the main point in the attack. He could have had more last game and I think he will start to really gain momentum now. United could still lose games but they will score as well and I’d be surprised if Mbuemo isn’t involved when they do.

  2. I am going with this.
    I don’t know if Haaland is the best for captain though, tempted by Rice, Mbeumo, Woltemade and Welbeck.

    • Mateta will be a must soon, mate.

      • For who though? Woltemade has a good run of games other than the Man City game, Welbeck also has a good run of games, I will be dropping Salah so was hoping Sarr would do.

        • Mateta has crazy underlying stats. Only Haaland can reach. This season. Reason why pretty much all fpl experts have him. He’s a must in my opinion. More so than Welly and Wolte, doesn’t even come close.

        • Who would you drop out of Woltemade and Welbeck?

          I cannot do anything until I sell Salah and I will only have 1FT next GW.

        • It is as you said. Short term both could outscore Mateta this gameweek. But in the long run. I really like Woltes and Wells fixture this gameweek. But after, depending on your team. I would prefer Wolte, better team. But Welly is cheaper and has great fixtures ahead. I’m going for Welly, Haaland and Mateta myself..

        • But wouldn’t jump on it now. Would only advise the transfer now if it was for Pedro.

        • Hmm. All is possible. Must do what you feel is right. But didn’t you just buy Welly? Lol.

      • I find xG an odd stat. Doesn’t it just mean they miss a lot of chances? I remember when we called that being crap at finishing

          Pedro for instance on 0,2? crazy

  5. Morning all! How does this team look for the coming gw? I think Pedro is on his last game unless he does something! Should I play Porro or Rodon at the back?

    • Any it’s? I got rid of Pedro. Mateta missing in your team. Pope, Timber, Richards, Mbeumo, Sem, Gakpo, Haaland and Wolte all look good.

      Pedro to Mateta possible? I would probably even do that move for a hit.

    • Pedro to Marteta.
      Porro or Rodon though, that is tough I would go with Porro at home, I don’t think either will get a CS but Spurs are maybe more likely being at home as well.

  6. Do I stay with Reindeer or play Neto instead?

    • Could go either way. I really liked Neto 2 games ago. Most dangerous man at Chelsea that game. Didn’t see the last game.

      • Spurs have shipped only 3 goals in the last 5 away games, on the other hand, the cherries 9 in 4.
        Last chance for R and after that he must go if he fails again.

    • I would think Neto is more likely to get an assist or goal than Reijnders.
