Welcome to FF247 Site Team News Gameweek 2

Nothing to see here, folks

Like, almost literally nothing. Unless you like car crashes, in which case read on…

Three of our eleven players delivered. Cucurella (8), Porro (6) and Salah as Captain (16). The rest got 3 points or less. Brilliant. That was bloody it. 47 points vs the average of 54 and a GW rank of 6.3m. 184th in Bonaire, Saint Eustatius and Saba, which just about says it all.

We have 0.0m in the bank (helpful) and 1 free transfer to use ahead of GW2. Let’s go see what was decided….

Our GW2 Transfer(s) – SAVED

We have decided to simply have a bit of a word, and a bit of a change up in personnel in terms of the starting 11. No cups of tea thrown just yet. We shall sit on our Free Transfer and take stock next week with 2 in the bank. Hartman and Anderson come in, with Porro and Diouf getting a rest, given their respective opposition.

Our GW2 team in full…

Captain – Salah
Call it a lack of imagination. Or call it a lack of other options. Call it what you like but we are keeping faith with Quiet Mo this week.

PREDICTED LINE-UPS

Back by popular demand! Well, sort of… Drafthound have changed their line-up approach this season and what it means for us is that we are no longer able to display a live feed of it on here due to some technical difficulties. That said, what they have done looks great and is still only a click away so if you want to access those they are HERE

Roll the transfer or swap anyone?
Captain Salah I think this week

Roll the transfer, agree, maybe swap Baleba for Andersen? It is quite tempting to captain Haaland though, at home , as Salah away to Newcastle. Even assuming that both teams are equally strong, home has a slight edge over away

Yeah Shri, I agree with you, and HF should roll the transfer. If I had Haaland, I’d be tempted to captain too, but Spurs could pose a slight problem. However, I don’t believe they’re the defensive stronghold they once were (When??? In the 70’s or something like that???). A high-scoring affair, I think. Gofer Haaland! 😉

          Thanks guys.
Will roll, and now have Anderson in over Baleba.
Haaland caprain with his home fixture. At present, only one other in my ML have both Salah and Haaland.

All the best Site team, it is not about how you start, but how one finishes, am sure the site team performance will pick up and reach the heights of past years yes

Lots of my big hitters didn’t have the start I wanted.

Thinking of this for now, almost 100% I’ll roll the FT this week (unless some injury news breaks)

I’d love to captain Palmer, but just being a Friday night game and Chelsea still finding form it would be a long weekend if he blanks.

The plan was to save the FT but then Frimpong appeared red as a tomato and replaced him with cheep and cheerful Acheampong, turned into a game of ping pong laugh At least, now the bank has 2.0 for rainy days smile
Very tempted to play Dubravka in a game which could be a 0-0. Any other brave takers on that idea?
