Welcome to FF247 Site Team GW3
Even without a certain absent Chelsea forward — and with four of our front seven drawing blanks — the team managed to grind out a respectable score. The defence did most of the heavy lifting: Murillo was the lone weak link, while the rest of the backline held firm with clean sheets. Porro, stepping in for the injured Palmer, proved a timely substitute.
In midfield, Rogers and Anderson chipped in, Ndiaye kept things ticking, and captain Salah came through with a late, late assist to salvage some pride. Up front, Watkins and Bowen couldn’t find the net, but the damage was limited.
We wrapped up the week on 49 points — just shy of the 51 average — but it was still enough to climb, with a green arrow from 6.64m to 5.81m overall.

We have £0.0 in the bank and 2 free transfer to use ahead of GW3. Let’s go see what was decided….
Our GW3 Transfer(s)
The newly streamlined management team might be smaller, but decisions are being made faster. With João Pedro’s price set to rise on Monday night, there was no hesitation. At 55.6% ownership and climbing — the most-owned player in the game — he felt too risky to ignore.
We pulled the trigger early, bringing in the Brazilian, Bowen makes way following his two blanks. With 2 free transfers in hand, we’ve still got room to manoeuvre. Our thinking earlier in the week was that if Palmer is ruled out, the flexibility is there to act. For now, the focus is on momentum, not damage control.
With the news Palmer is not in the England Squad we’ve made the assumption he’ll miss this weekend’s game. The vote was cast for his replacement, Kudos came out on top. Spurs look rejuvinated this season, a home game against the Cherries looks promising and we’re hoping the Ghanaian can add to the 10pts he notched against Burnley in GW1.
It’s a tricky one for captaincy this week, we could play it safe with Salah, but in truth he’s not looked that great and Arsenal isn’t exactly an easy option. In the end we’ve opted for the in-form Pedro, it’s hard to ignore those 15pts. Fulham at home looks a tasty fixture, and despite it being the first fixture of the game week, we’re giving a middle finger to Gandhi (if you know you know) an hoping he’ll have a repeat performance.
To confirm then we have SOLD Bowen and Palmer and BOUGHT Pedro and Kudos

PREDICTED LINE-UPS
Back by popular demand! Well, sort of… Drafthound have changed their line-up approach this season and what it means for us is that we are no longer able to display a live feed of it on here due to some technical difficulties. That said, what they have done looks great and is still only a click away so if you want to access those they are HERE

Who would you bench here?

Based on form you have it right but could easily be one of the AV boys instead
Perhaps play Williams ahead of Dorgu
Yeah I agree.
Thanks SAF. Yea it’s basically Wirtz, Roger’s or Reijnders I think.
And yes, I’m just being lazy and not changing the bench order yet
As you have it
Anyone else planning to play dull and save the transfer to have 3FT after IB?
The obvious moves in general are Palmer to cheaper one and for example Guiu to Wood/Mateta. However, having 3FT next round is still quite tempting, keeping in mind the transfer window as well.
Any thoughts?
I very nearly did exactly that. But got really bored by my team for this week, so burnt 2 FTs
Depends on who your sub for Palmer is and whether you think it’s worth holding him while he drops in price,is still potentially not fit after the break and worth the money when he keeps getting played out of position ?
That is the point. No decent subs. Guiu (Sunderland), Andersen (Fulham), Esteve (Burnley). So that would mean either Andersen against Chelsea or Guiu against Brentford.
Cunha cap
I think that’s bold and why the hell not. I’m considering bringing him in and doing that myself
I have it on him as well. Is there a chance he comes off the bench having played 90 in midweek that’s my only worry?
Do I keep the armband on Haaland or go Wood?

Probably has to be Haaland if you have him
You are right Gear. Let’s hope for a revenge after that embarrassing f up against Spurs.
I don’t have Wood in my team, but have both Salah and Haarland and have the latter as captain, If I did have Wood I still would have Haarland, but only just.
Makes sense T. Sticking with Haaland and hoping both deliver.
I c Haaland. But if i had Wood, I would have c Wood. My dilemma was Haaland or j pedro c
Currently on a WC because my team needed a lot of work! Had 4 players flagged and also needed to shop Bowen so felt it was the right time! Thoughts on this team? I’m happy to go without Salah as feel I’ll get just as many points in the short term from Gakpo and Ekitike. Still have money in the bank and wondering where I could invest that.

It looks great Igy. Keep the dosh in the bank, always good to have for rainy days.
Thanks Ivan! Would Semenyo be a better choice than Ndoye?
Long term Semenyo better i suppose. This team good for a bb soon. Else u have benching headache.
