Robot Rock
Welcome to FF247 Site Team News Gameweek 6
The season started with promise, but those early green arrows feel like a distant memory now. We’ve hit a bump — no, a wall — with only three of our starting XI returning points this week: Salah (5), Kudus (7), and Ndiaye (6). The rest? Forgettable. Painfully forgettable.
We limped to 39pts. In isolation, not the worst score out there (some of the screenshots doing the rounds on social media were far uglier), but it was enough to hand us a second consecutive red arrow. Our rank nosedived from 6,712,089 to 6,871,311 — our lowest point of the season so far. Surely, it can only get better. Surely.

We have £4.2m in the bank and 2 free transfer to use ahead of GW6. Let’s go see what was decided….
Our GW6 Transfer(s)
With over £4m in the bank and two free transfers at our disposal, we couldn’t sit still. The whole FPL world was moving for Haaland ahead of his home tie against Burnley, and we weren’t about to get left behind.
While managers everywhere are burning chips, we’re holding firm. Wildcards, Free Hits, hits galore — they’re all being deployed, but with all our chips intact, we were more than comfortable making early moves.
The casualties? Villa’s Watkins and Rogers. They promised plenty but delivered nothing: not a single attacking return in five games. Harsh? Maybe. Justified? Definitely. Their stay of execution is finally over.
In comes Erling Haaland — no explanation needed — secured before his price rise. That left £5.8m for a new midfielder, and after a tidy 9-point showing in GW5, Tijjani Reijnders fit the bill. Decent form, favourable fixture. Low risk, decent reward.
The armband lands on the new signing himself. And yes, there’s every chance we push the button and go all in with the Triple Captain. Temptation levels: very high.
Looking Ahead
The strategy is clear: ride Haaland, hope Burnley suffer, and claw back some lost ground. If the robot does what the robot does, we’re back on track.
Elsewhere, Salah’s form is a concern but he remains a set-and-forget option until further notice. Kudus and Ndiaye keep their places after respectable hauls, while Reijnders gets his chance to prove GW5 wasn’t a one-off.
Defensively… well, we’ll look the other way for now. More pressing matters are up front.
It’s backs against the wall, but that’s FPL. The slump has to end somewhere. And if Haaland’s holding the armband — maybe even the triple — this is as good a place as any.
To confirm then we have SOLD Watkins and Rogers and BOUGHT Haaland and Reijnders
Captain – Haaland

PREDICTED LINE-UPS
Back by popular demand! Well, sort of… Drafthound have changed their line-up approach this season and what it means for us is that we are no longer able to display a live feed of it on here due to some technical difficulties. That said, what they have done looks great and is still only a click away so if you want to access those they are HERE

Both leagues will be closed to new entrants on 01/02/26.
This is me … feels weird benching VDV — right call?
Think I’m gonna throw caution to the wind and TC the Norse God regardless of likely cameo.
Mind you, I’m knee deep in Prosecco … so.
Fortune favours the brave an’ all that.

Everton away won’t be easy for westham. And Wolves at home should be easy for Spurs.
Lucas.P is your only option to bench, the rest is very strong.
I think you must Captain Haaland at the very least.
I am on the TC myself, praying to see his name on the starting line-up. Even if he is subbed at 60/70 mins he can do damage.
1,034,529 people have brought him in. If half them are on a WC they will be blocked from using the TC.
Could be a good chance to close or make a gap on a ML.
I am tempted to go for the TC as well. The next opportunity will be in GW 8 at home vs Everton, just after the second IB. Another one is GW 13 at home vs Leeds. Maybe now could be the best time, anything later is mixed with many WC qualifying and UCL games between
I am also 50-50 on tc or not. .might just go for it.
TC this week just feels right for me.
Same tc for me. A week’s rest for Haaland. Perfect.
