“Looks like nobody confirmed TC”

Welcome to FF247 Site Team News Gameweek 7

As you can see from our header there was a slight mishap last week. We told you all we were TCing the Norwegian robot so when he got his 2 goals, 1 assist, 3 BPS sixteen-pointer, the site team members were happy as larry. However a certain Geordie, who will remain nameless, broke the news that the TC button wasn’t actually active! Oops punish

At least it wasn’t a -48 wildcard that had been forgotten or that we had neglected to buy Haaland so we owned and captained him which lessened the pain!

We finished on 50 points which was just above the average but 32 of those came from our captain. The rest of the team was full of 1’s and 2’s with Cucurella getting 0 and Anderson getting 3 to buck the trends.

This saw a green arrow up to 6,055,864 so still in the doldrums of the FPL world but on the up!

Our Gameweek 6 Result

We have £0.2 in the bank and 1 free transfer to use ahead of GW7. Let’s go see what was decided….

Our GW7 Transfer(s)

To do nothing! That’s what the decision was this week, it was all very quick and easy. Nothing to really change with 1 ft and no cash so we shall wait it out.

Captain was also quick and easy – if it ain’t broke, don’t fix it! Haaland gets the armband once more.

To confirm then we have ROLLED THE TRANSFER

Captain – Haaland

PREDICTED LINE-UPS

Back by popular demand! Well, sort of… Drafthound have changed their line-up approach this season and what it means for us is that we are no longer able to display a live feed of it on here due to some technical difficulties. That said, what they have done looks great and is still only a click away so if you want to access those they are HERE

  1. I have a healthy £3.6m in the bank so looking at Richarlison>Gyokeres or Xavi>Saka. Any better suggestions?

  2. G’day again sports fans! Just sounding out the team here. Am wildcarding and to be true, I’m all over the place with it!
Gotta go to work in 5 minutes, so I’ll read this during a ‘break’! Hahaha!
Tossing up on the Gravenberch spot, with maybe Minteh, maybe Anthony, maybe someone else! Have got Sarr alongside him, but dunno whether it should be some other 6.5 dude or not! What about Timber instead of Gabe? WHat about Eze instead of Saka????Farke !!!!(that’s Daniel by the way, not swearing in public 😉 ).
Much appreciate th’advice – will look at it around about 1pm your time (in old Albion!). Here goes:

    • Probs BB in GW8.

      • Sarr for me, for the price he is very attacking.

        • Hey thanks Gavy. I was leaning that way when I realised how good Palace have been lately, even against big teams.

        • No indication yet about Gabriel’s likelihood for this weekend ? Still at work and unable to tap into team news! Guess I’ll wing it! smile

      • Have been tempted by noise about Voldemort from Newcastle. But maybe stick strong with Joao Pedro. Dunno. I’ll probably do something rash closer to deadline time and the whole WC will come crashing down ! 😉

    • Anthony I would say instead of Gravenberch

      • Okay, noted. But I think I’ve done something dumb and replaced Pope with Roefs, then Diouf with Burn. Helllpppp!

  3. Afternoon all, and happy GW7!
    I have 1.5m ITB and one FT…
What do you think of this lineup?
Is Isak a silly choice? and, what’s the consensus on Pedro? Toyed with the idea of bringing in Gyokeres.
    OR
Bring in a new keeper, since Ange is at Forest now.
    OR (lastly)
Roll – keep calm and carry on

    • I think Isak will become a really good asset, but unable to ascertain when. If you’ve got him he’s probably a good choice, specially with Eki apparently injured.
JP is a hold for me, as Chelsea’s fixtures are pretty good after Liverpool. I’ve held onto him, e’en tho’ wildcarding.
Maybe a keeper to replace Sels, as you said (Pope, Rogers?).

  4. Gabriel flagged. Ffs.

  5. How does this look for the coming gameweek?

  6. Hi guys, 1FT 3.6m itb. Should I do any of these moves
    1. Cunha to Saka
    2. Richards to Gabriel
    3. Save FT

    • It’s funny. Guehi seems to keep getting all the points but every stat suggests Richards would normally outscore him on defcon and everything else. Can’t bet against Guehi past few games though. Lol

    • And one of those to Gabriel. I’m doubling up on Arsenal defense with Timber and Gabriel.

      • Thanks Raz. I was also considering if I should roll to have the option to get Salah and King for Gakpo + Cunha fool

        • I know many sold Salah but I think and hope Pool will come good at some point the next few games. If not, I’m doing Salah to Saka/Palmer and Mateta to Isak.

        • Tempted to bring Salah in for GW8 with he’s record against Man Utd. laugh

        • Could you check my team up? Have Timber but still considering Gabriel in for Porro. You reckon Porro starts?

        • By the way, Gabriel is a small doubt this gameweek. But I think he’ll play.

Coach of Crystal Palace said Mateta had some fatigue, which worries me.

        • Porro is a rotation risk. For that reason I would sell. I’m not sure if he starts. I think Spence will be better suited against Leeds pacey wingers.
