FF247 Site Team News GW10
You’re getting sacked in the morning….
Welcome to FF247 Site Team GW10
Our Gameweek 9 Result
Three red arrows in a row, after a 55-point finish. The average was 54, which says it all.
46 of those were from 4 players – Gvardiol (9), Mbuemo (15), Palmer (10) and Haaland (12). Even the latter was disappointing as Erling was our captain.
The remaining 7 got 9 points between them. Slow hand clap.
We have £0.1m in the bank and 2 free transfers to waste use ahead of GW10. Let’s go see what was decided….
Our GW10 Transfer(s)
On the face of it, there wasn’t a lot wrong here. Unfortunately for us, but admittedly probably more so for Ange and Spurs, speedster and high line dependant Micky van de Ven pulled up with another suspected hammy in midweek. It’s not exactly ideal, all round, but particularly for us with so little money in the bank, and the road runner himself being budget-friendly (when you buy him, not need to sell him!!!) £4.6m.
So, sans any other transfers to do, that left us with £4.7m to splurge on a defender. Turns out (who knew?!), that your options are a bit limited in that range. Aina of Forest got two early shouts. That was shot down with one glance at his fixtures beyond the immediate one.
Rayan Aït-Nouri was the only other really serious shout. The slight problem being that Wolves have the worst defensive record in the league! The man himself, though, has 3 goals and 2 assists, so there is that. Plus, their fixtures look ok, ish.
To confirm then we have SOLD Micky van de Ven and BOUGHT Rayan Aït-Nouri
Captain – Haaland
Obviously…

PREDICTED LINE-UPS
Back by popular demand! Well, sort of… Drafthound have changed their line-up approach this season and what it means for us is that we are no longer able to display a live feed of it on here due to some technical difficulties. That said, what they have done looks great and is still only a click away so if you want to access those they are HERE

How does this look? I’ve got 0 in the bank but 1FT. Solanke is my only concern being that he isn’t really scoring.

Could give Solanke another shot or switch to Wood/Cunha. No wrong answer there
Did you keep him?
Off with his head. Cunha, Wood or Jimenez in.
Hello everyone. I’d be grateful for some advice on the below situation.
2 FT and 0.2m ITB
I’m tempted to switch Jota out for Kovacic, but I’m not sold, as my gut says he’d just bring in a few points for the next couple of weeks Bowen? Madueke?
Also, should I swap out Gab too? Is it too risky playing Gvardiol and Gab?
I know it’s a lot, but any advice would be appreciated.

Looks like Gabriel will start. Faes (decent match up) will come in for Gvardiol if he doesn’t.
I would take a 4ph and swap out Jota for Saka, Watkins for Jimenez and DCL for Cunha.
or sell Haaland for Cunha or Wood and bring in Salah for Jota
Jota for Matheus.N.
City have a few injuries (so he SHOULD start) and he’s looked good over his last 3 games.
He’s on pens after haaland too.
Hi guys,
Is this the best bench order? Is Mazaroui likely to keep a CS?
Thanks!
