Regrets, we’ve had a few
Welcome to FF247 Site Team GW15
We are in a rush this week, as we all are. Turns out we are in more of a rush than we actually thought we were, but we shall come onto that later.
As for GW14, we only have an interim score at this point in time, that being 79. It looks like Kerkez will bring home another 2, so let’s call it at 81. As for rank, we expect that will bring a green arrow, as our 59 points as of last night had bumped us up about 750k spots.
With a few different decisions this week, and the luxury of hindsight, it could have been a whole lot better. Palmer won our internal Captain Poll by a narrow margin of 3 to 2 over Salah. As it was they got us 32, reversed it could have been 43. We left Mykolenko on the bench for an 11, and played Ait-Noiri with a zero. We left Gordon on the bench with an 8, and played both Mbeumo and Bruno with 2. That’s another 17 gone begging. Or 28 in total.
Steve Cooper has been sacked for less than this.
Elsewhere, and to keep it positive, Saliba got a monster 15, mostly off his backside, and Watkins got us 12.

Our GW15 Transfer(s)
We have £1.1m in the bank and 2 free transfers to use ahead of GW15. Let’s go see what was decided….
Well, this escalated quickly… In short, Rosco pointed out that we could remove Gordon and Mbeumo for Saka and a £5.3m ‘someone’. Rogers just happened to be exactly £5.3m, and he has Saints and Forest up next. The whole thing seemed too good to be true, and we quickly realised that it may be, if we left it until tomorrow. Hence the early moves.
What it does also mean is that we have strength on the bench, should the worst happen, so we are comfortable enough that whilst we have made some solid and positive moves, we are also covered somewhat if it all goes tits up elsewhere.
To confirm then we have SOLD Gordon and Mbeumo and BOUGHT Saka and Rogers
Captain – Salah
Oh dear, poor Everton! Salah wom this by 5 votes to nil. They may have just won 4-0 against Wolves but there is a feeling that this may also be more about him than them. Or some combination of both. And he just looks invincible right now.
UPDATE!
Due to the Merseyside derby being cancelled we have now gone with Watkins as captain and Saka as vice, after a 4-2 vote.

PREDICTED LINE-UPS
Back by popular demand! Well, sort of… Drafthound have changed their line-up approach this season and what it means for us is that we are no longer able to display a live feed of it on here due to some technical difficulties. That said, what they have done looks great and is still only a click away so if you want to access those they are HERE

Just no reprieve this season. Got taa in for a hit!
Unlucky Reg.
Did you beat the price rise?
Still looks good over the next few weeks
Yeah got him at 6.9. Hopefully they ll schedule the double gw soon. Wish i still kept my tc chip. Salah on a dgw and tc chance gone
Who did you have for your TC?
Haaland vs Southampton. Just 1 goal he got in that
Anyone tempted by captain Jackson? Last year he scored a hatty against Spurs
That’s not a bad shout at all. I would consider it. In theory, he’s nice and fresh.
Very tempted GP. This postponement makes things so stressful. Changed the armband over 100 times between Palmer and Saka and thing finally will go with the later.
I captained Saka – it worked for me a couple of GWs ago, and I thought that maybe Spurs’ defence might turn up this time, with an ‘Ange-rocket’ fired squarely up their respective derrières!
Anyway, we shall see how it all goes. Cheers! 😉
50-50 on palmer or saka. Right now on palmer.
But jackson a good option too.
Now Salah is out…Watkins or Saka captain. Been picking the wrong ones each week so doubt it matters
Watkins maybe. Big differential.
