Much ado about nothing
Welcome to FF247 Site Team GW15
Six of our eleven did absolutely nowt. Thankfully, the other five bothered to show up, and just about saved our dignity. We weren’t deranged enough to go against the robot, and those 28 points carried us. Elsewhere, Muñoz (14pts) — one of the few bright sparks in this season of darkness — did most of the heavy lifting. Saka (6pts) off the bench and Sels (6pts) both played their part, and while Liverpool continue to look bang average at best, Virgil hit DEFCON “Please clap.” Four points is about as good as it gets from him these days.
We finished on 69pts — a sexy number for an aggressively unsexy team. A green arrow was secured, and we crawled from 3,704,055 to 3,511,047. It’s hardly been a vintage season; in fact, it’s been more boxed-wine than Bordeaux. But who knows? Maybe the next few weeks are where the miracle turnaround begins. (They won’t be.) It’s the hope that kills you.

Our GW15 Transfer(s)
We talked chips. We even landed on Wildcard. Matt even drafted us a squad. And… we didn’t play it. Naturally.
Not to sound like a broken record, but the team for this week simply didn’t justify pulling the big red lever. Add in the fact we had two free transfers that absolutely had to be used or lost, and the decision to keep the powder dry came quickly. We’re still sensible to our core.
After his 17-pointer and back-to-back double-digit hauls, Foden felt like a perfectly reasonable place to throw a transfer. And while the popular Minteh didn’t do much in GW14, the fixtures look tasty and he has that “why not, it’s nearly Christmas” punt energy. So those two come in. Ndiaye and Enzo — with one lonely return apiece in their last seven — are politely escorted off the premises.
We enter GW16 with four gameweeks to use three chips. If nothing else, it’s going to be interesting in a “strapping yourself into a rollercoaster built in the 1950s” sort of way. Watch this space.

With only 0.3 ITB and 1 FT, do I jump on the bandwagon and replace Mbeumo with Foden or leave it as that?

I cannot see Mbeumo risking an injury so close to Afcon and he’s done nothing the past few weeks.

Wolves are still one of the weaker defenses. All I can say is that I’m very pleased I still have Bruno F.

Ivan, in the end you need to go with your own gut. I really can’t see how things will go with all the crazy rotations. Last gameweek I had three rotations. Completely screwed up my gameweek.
