TWO IN A ROW!

WE’VE FINALLY DONE IT! For the first time this season we have managed to get TWO green arrows in a row!

55 points which is 5 above the average of 50, a green arrow of 120k and up to 3,248,648.

We had Salah as captain until Storm Darragh came along so a quick poll was taken and a swap from Mo to Watkins was made. This was yet again a massive, massive fail. Watkins returned a big dud of 2 points, doubled to 4 whilst Cole Palmer laughed in our faces with 18 points. When is the last time we even got a captaincy pick correct? We checked – GAMEWEEK 11 was the last time we captained our highest scorer. It hasn’t been great.

Apart from Saliba and Bruno getting 9 points and a 4 from Ait-Nouri every other player in the team blanked and returned lots of 2’s!

Let’s hope we can get better!

We didn’t really have to make a move this week but a change of Watkins to Isak was suggested. Then came the news that Watkins had picked up a knock and Wilson was out for another 2 months.

Isak therefore became a no-brainer and in came the Swede.

To confirm then we have SOLD Ollie Watkins and BOUGHT Alexander Isak

Captain – Cole Palmer

Like most this week, we had loads of options for the armband and it was a 3-2 split on Palmer/Salah in favour of the chill guy. We look to Cole to break our captaincy curse.

    Few ideas given to me by fellow ff’ers

    1. Roll FT
    2. Haaland->Isak
    3. Gvardiol->Kerkez

    What is the better option? I have a few bench players that need to be sorted out, but might be better with 2FT.
    I still have my WC but will be using that before the deadline, which I presume I will have to activate once GW18 is live.

    • Just use the WC now to fix team. Especially if u decide no Haaland.. could change all these things u r saying.

      • Too short notice. I dont have much time, as I like to think about it..lol

      • I’d also be tempted to play it. If not, get rid of Gvardiol

        • I like to tinker, not rush the wildcard.
          Having just seen this latest comment, I only have 1hr 16 minutes. Not enough time. Too much panic getting I think.

          As for gvardiol, city concede, but he does get assists lol

          Who to ditch him for though

        • Yeah, I’d defo WC and spread the Haaland cash!

          I’ve seen better benches in the local park laugh1

        • Not going to have time to wildcard, so will have to roll the FT, hope for the best, and use the transfers next week to tinker for the Xmas run in

  3. My team was in a bit of free fall so I hit the WC last night. Couldn’t get TAA without having dead wood on my bench. Any tweaks? I like Enzo but not sure about a Chelsea double up in midfield.

        Virgil and Gabriel to Trent and Timber might appeal. Not a recommendation but maybe something to consider?

        Could you stow Andersen from Fulham on your bench ahead of Mykolenko for the better days ahead?

        • Thanks as ever GP. I tried that but had 0.0 BUT now that I look at it again I could move Semenyo to Enzo and if he’s fodder so be it. Frees up a nice 0.5 to play with later.

        • I bought Enzo last night so a ‘yes’ from me.

    • Looks good. Colwill does not offer much despite the fixtures. Could be more fun to get somone like Kerkez or Munoz for potential attacking returns.

      • I’ve had Colwill for weeks with very little return, agree think I can try someone with more bite. Thanks SF!

  4. Salah or Palmer as cappo? Currently set on Salah. My cap choices have been horrific this season and it makes a world of difference.

  5. Jackson or Isak to replace Watkins?

    • Thought he was confirmed out, might just hold him.

      • I have Jackson but i think i will be transferring him for Isak after this GW.

    • Whether he’s fit or not, I would still go Isak for him.
