Well, the season starts here… or next week… or whenever we get above the average score! We didn’t get off to the best start in gameweek 1 as we scored 9 points below the average score getting 48 points. It could have been worse atleast we did have some players who returned just not more than the ones we didn’t own.
No Saka, Havertz or Salah in our team so that was a bit of a spanking alright. The brilliance of the Premier League referee was on full show to chalk out a wonder goal by Eze who also had an assist ruled out for offside (correctly). Gordon and our captain, Isak, were both screwed over by the theatrics of Brereton Diaz. The man doesn’t know if he’s English or Chilean but he knows how to play dead as Schar get a bit too close. I’m sure he just wanted to give Brereton a welcome back kiss!
Isak did get an assist at least for 10 pts, Haaland got 7 pts, matched by Gvardiol but our standout performer of the week was Diogo Jota who got 8 points.
Thankfully there is no colour on the arrows this week so we start GW2 in the doldrums of FPL sitting at 6,519,651 but we will only go up!

Our GW2 Transfer(s)
The team picked itself this week and nothing was really needed. Barco appears to be off to Spain so he sits 3rd on the bench, Bergvall is not a starter so joins him easily. The only decision we really had to make was Mykolenko or Konsa to start. Not really inspiring choices but Everton are Everton and thus Konsa got the nod.
News seems to have come out that Solanke may be injured but he isn’t yellow flagged and nothing concrete yet. We will leave him in the side and if he does miss out Mykolenko will play. Any late transfers done by the Site Team will be put into the comments.
* We have decided to sell Solanke to Muniz
Captaincy was another non-discussion, Haaland is playing Ipswich at home – ’nuff said! We did have a little vote on whether to play our Triple Captain Chip or not and we decided to just go all out and play that chip!
To confirm then we have SAVED THE FREE TRANSFER and PLAYED OUR TC CHIP

Should I play Colwill instead of Andersen or leave as this?

Hasn’t Anderson moved to another club? Even if he is in the process he is unlikely to start. Would play Colwill.
Andersen’s jersey now shows as Fullham at the site. I had no idea that was going down.
He just moved to Fulham from Palace for £30 mil and should start.
If you’re sure hell start then I would keep him
Home game to Leicester , so keep him, as he is fit, he may start and get an assist playing a long pass to Muniz
Bearing in mind nkunku played last night plus the competition at chelsea is it worth swapping him to jota?

Will Solanke drop tonight! I would need to use hit to replace him. Would be nice to do it for free tomorrow.

Now that Solanke is out, roll the FT or swap to Muniz.
Is the consensus that TC is worthy of doing this week, with the lack of DGW this season (as mentioned previously). I failed mierably last season. Plus, not knowing what our 3rd chip will actually be?

You seem to have the popular move there. I would go for it. I am in any case. Do it tonight though I’d suggest. Muniz going up by the looks of it.

Where is the best place to look for price rises?
I check fplstatistics, but Muniz rise, and Solanke fall dont appear close

Just popped in for a wee Captain Cook, and what do I see but panic and hearts aflutter!
Keep calm young FPLers, unless you need major surgery! The season is a longish proposition, so buckle iin and remain reasonable! I too have Barco, but there is sweet Fanny Adams that we can do about it as he is mere 4.0 bench fodder!
Anyway, I’m starting to warm to this TC idea, but will I have the conviction???
