A below average week again for us but by season’s standards, not AS bad as some of our poor showings given as we scored only one solitary point below the average with 58. OF COURSE it was a red arrow taking us down to 2,599,511. We’re miles off it this season but with chips in hand (more on that later) and a never-say-die attitude, we aim to dust ourselves off and look to our first double gameweek of the season with hope.

Anyway, in Gameweek 23 we had Mohamed Salah (16) as captain so at least he bounced back for us. The Newcastle lads Isak and Gordon combined for 18 points and only a Gabriel (7) cleansheet for Arsenal and assists for Trent Alexander-Armstrong (5) and Daniel Munoz (4) kept the fires burning.

The team looks in good shape though. Or so we keep telling ourselves ….

We have 0.5mln in the bank and 4 free transfers to use ahead of Gameweek 24. Let’s go see what was decided.

Our Gameweek 25 Transfer(s)

Before the hand grenade of the New Double Gameweek was thrown into the FPL World on Friday, we looked to have everything in hand. We were going to save a free transfer – (to make it five) and create our own little piece of history – then pick the team for this DGW and get ready for a transfer splurge next week*

Cue Friday afternoon and everyone is walking around in a daze wondering whether to keep calm and observe or go bananas and play the assistant manager chip with a hit taken for a manager (yep you read that sentence correctly). Remember old-fashioned FPL? Ahhhh.

To confirm then we have SAVED OUR FREE TRANSFER (to make five!)

Two games so it is obvious and we’d TC him if we could but ours is gone. We knew this DGW arrangement could always happen but we went with Haaland in Gameweek 2 and we’re very confident that that is a good score. Seventeen to beat Mo!
