Our Gameweek 25 Result
Despite a couple of clean sheets, and a few goals further forward we still attracted a red arrow, having had three greens in a row. Albeit a small one, which likely wouldn’t have happened had we not switched the armband off of Haaland. Fancy captaining a defender… madness!

We have 0.5 in the bank and 2 free transfers to use ahead of DGW26. Let’s go see what was decided….

Our GW26 Transfer(s)

The D of the GW is the big clue here. And we only have two Arsenal. So that was obviously going to change. The ideal is Saliba to partner Gabriel but funds are an issue. Fortunately Szoboszlai did us a solid with his red, and an excuse to raise said funds.

A Wolves mid was suggested but which one and why seemed pertinent enough questions to dismiss that notion. Out of the other mids at that price point Kiernan Dewsbury-Hall stood out to us. Yours truly saw first hand the impact he had on his team last week vs Leeds and it was enough to push this one through the committee.

To confirm then we have SOLD Thiaw and Szoboszlai and BOUGHT Saliba and Dewsbury-Hall

Captain – Gabriel!
Yep, we’ve done it again! But with the two games and likely clean-sheets this one makes a tad more sense than the last one.

PREDICTED LINE-UPS

Back by popular demand! Well, sort of… Drafthound have changed their line-up approach this season and what it means for us is that we are no longer able to display a live feed of it on here due to some technical difficulties. That said, what they have done looks great and is still only a click away so if you want to access those they are HERE

  3. Saving the FT and hoping that Dalot doesn’t give me another shock.

  4. Anyone else going all in on Gabriel and Triple captaining him?

    • It hasn’t crossed my mind captaining him, let alone TC acute

    • I am captaining him for sure, it is quite tempting to triple captain him. That is what I have been thinking for a week or so. Though, with my luck being what it is, the decision to triple captain him, means he will get injured in the first ten minutes and/or get a red card, have vivid memories of an Alexis Sanchez DGW TC, where he got -1 or -2.

    • I am. I can’t see when a good chance for another double game week, probably GW33 and GW36 but I’ll probably either FH or bench boost in those weeks. So get the TC out of the way now

    • Feels so wrong to triple captain a defender let alone a cb but all it takes is a couple clean sheets and a goal and it’s a great haul. Very capable and with city breathing down their neck they’ll be up for it. I think I’m going to do it.

  5. Hey guys, thanks for that. Any views on who to bench here please?

    • The only thing I can think is Mane for Semenyo, who do you think will score more is the question.

      • Thanks bud, I’m really not sure, I feel I have to play Mane with the dgw, but it feels wrong to bench Semenyo too, I’m sure I’ll make the wrong decision anyway Lol.

      • I agree with Terminators, I doubt Mane will do much against Arsenal so it’s basically Mane v Forrest +2 points. I’d rather bank on Semenyo

  6. I am going with this, TC Gabriel.

    • Liverpool won’t score many against Sunderland at the SOL (I’m hoping).

    • Looks good mate, shame you can’t fit Guehi. I think I’m going to join you on the TC
